dmite
Ross hit it good, just can't do much with the pitcher spot there.
dmite
Says the Pirates have an error. Did they give an error to their SS on the foul he couldn't quite get to off Heyward? That's pretty harsh if so.
usmcdirtybird
McLouth is an at-out not an at-bat
RedandBlack4Life!
Phillies are losing 2-0 to the Marlins, in the top of the 5th so far.
Dharma Initiative
I'm gonna go on a limb and say McLouth will finally turn the corner and be our best option for CF in the batter's box
RedandBlack4Life!
dang, JHey should have a good series. Per @ajcbraves - "Coming into this series, Heyward was hitting .476 (10-for-21) vs. the Pirates with two doubles, two HRs and six RBIs"

dmite
We're making this soft tosser look great. But, Phillies are doing the same with the new Marlins pitcher.

atlbravesfalcs7
nothing makes me angrier than when heyward goes up there and watches 3 strikes in a row cuz hes looking for a walk.

K26dp
nothing makes me angrier than when heyward goes up there and watches 3 strikes in a row cuz hes looking for a walk.He doesn't go looking for a walk. He's looking for a pitch to hit. If he grounded weakly to SS, would he be any less out?

K26dp
guess not, but its better than watching 3 fastballs in a row.Really? How is it better? The only way it would be better would be if there was a runner on 3rd with less than 2 outs and the SS was playing back... and in that situation, Heyward would likely have not been as selective.
