Get your questions answered - Week 1

Hey everyone. I hope you're all enjoying your Labor Day so far. I wanted to take the opportunity to let you all know about a new content feature I'm starting on AtlantaFalcons.com. Each week, I will post a topic on Monday where you, the fans, can simply reply with a question for a player and have a chance at getting it answered. Every Thursday, I will choose the best five questions, head down to the locker room and get those questions answered by the players they're posed to. On Friday, I will post the answers to the top five questions on AtlantaFalcons.com.

So let's get started. To keep things as easy as possible, try to use the following format:

First name, city, state (optional)

Question: Insert unbelievably great question here. Obviously, make sure to mention somewhere which player the question is posed to.

If you're wanting to keep your message board anonymity, you don't have to enter your first name and city/state. If your question gets chosen, I'll just use your message board name to identify who the question came from. Just a disclaimer: Any questions that may be even borderline inappropriate will probably not get chosen to be answered. With that said, feel free to ask about on-field or off-field stuff you've always wondered about your favorite player. Go ahead and start submitting your questions by replying to this thread, and make sure to check AtlantaFalcons.com on Friday to see if your question was chosen to be answered!

Oh, and please try to limit yourself to one question per week. I know you've all probably got tons of questions, but just choose your best and submit it. If it doesn't get answered this week, there's always next week. I'm hoping to get as many of these answered as possible, and if we get enough questions per week, I will always consider extending the number that actually get answered. So please, one question per person. Thanks!

Aww man jay, First helping us actually get the hickory stick award out. Then letting us ask questions.. I feel so close to my team! You are pretty awesome mr.adams!

I'll be submitting a question in a few.

Oh and one question, If our question is not intended for any specific player then do we just leave that blank?

Yeah, I guess that's the best way to solve it. Or, if you think someone might give a particularly excellent answer to your open question, make a suggestion. Thanks for bringing that up. I hadn't really thought about that. But if I see enough open questions that all tie in together somehow, maybe I'll write an entire story on the subject. Cool?

My name is Steve from Austin, TX.

I've been a fan for as long as I can remember and I have one concern about this upcoming season. Does all of the hype about the Falcons being really good this year worry the team, in general, about setting higher expectations for the season or does everyone tend to ignore them just to work harder for the upcoming season? Of course I hope for a Championship for Atlanta every year, and I hope this is the one, I just hope that with all the publicity the team doesn't get jinxed.

I realize this isn't for any specific player, but I may have more questions in th future, this one was the first one to pop into my head.

Frankie Pineda - Atwater, CA

Matt Ryan,

I personally believe in the entire falcon team to over take the saints and even go on to the super bowl and win it this year. it seems that the entire team is focused on winning it this year, so hearing the players talk about their goal being winning the super bowl brings up my, as well as others, hopes up. How can and the rest of the team make sure not to disappopint us this year?

To Curtis Lofton: Boxers often say they can hear their opponent groan "uhhhhhh" when hit with a great body shot and they know they delivered a kill shot. Does the same thing happen in football, where you know that you destroyed a man just by hearing the sound he makes when you hit him?

Matt Ryan.

Plenty Questions. Take your pick:

QUESTIONS HE MIGHT ANSWER

1. What was the hardest hit you've taken in the NFL?

2. Have you ever read the TATF message board?

3. What's more important to you? Winning% as a starter or passing stats?

4. How would you define a successful 2010 for you?

5. Do you realize that the hits you take in 10 don't hurt anymore than the hits you took in 08 and 09?

6. Do you know how many people out here need rest?

QUESTIONS HE PROBABLY WOULDN'T TOUCH WITH A TEN FOOT POLE

1. Do 3-4 or 4-3 defenses give you more challenges?

2. Do you prefer huddle, sugar huddle or no huddle?

3. Where do you think you rank overall among active NFL QBs?

4. Are the Jenkdropson boys clueless or am I clueless?

5. What piece do you think we're missing on offense if any?

6. Do you feel comfortable behind our Oline?

7. What NFL offensive scheme do you like the most as a QB?

8. Is this the best defense you've seen as a Falcon?

9. What's your 2010 W/L prediction?
