jm_falcons
OK guys....managed to go 16-0 last year....1st time ever! I will now attempt to do the same thing again this year.I know....no way..no how...that I do this again. But I am going to give it a try! Here we go....atl over PIT (this will be a war...14-13 Falcons win!)TD deserves the credit in this one. Our DL depth/rotation will allow us to control Pits running game for the most part.ATL over az (Falcons are the superior team...I like Whisenhunt but the Ga dome crowd will just be roaring against him.)NO over atl (I'll be at this game...would love to be wrong...but the champs prevail)ATL over sf (wont be 45-10...but the Falcons will win it.atl over CLE (historically...we've had our share of problems at CLE...but not these 2010 Mike Smith birds)phl over ATL (very close game though. There just mad cause the Braves won the division.)ATL over cin (Dunta and the secondary come up big for us in this one...Ocho and Terrel both struggle)ATL over tb (Tampa might as well wear the old cream cycle uniforms in this one! It's going to be a beat down...early andoften.)bal over ATL (bal is my unbiased pick to be super bowl champs.)atl over STL (Sam Bradford will meet the Falcons D and then be reintroduced to his home turf...face first.)gb over ATL gb will win the nfc and face the Ravens in the super bowl. Falcons play both super bowl teams at homethis year.atl over TB Bucs simply undermanned once again.atl over CAR should have won last year...we will this year. Matt Moore will learn that the tackles Jerry and Lewis aintno joke!SEA over atl (get caught looking ahead to NO)ATL over NO Payback time on prime time.ATL over car Falcons to finish strong.11-5...and division champs. Supes™
You nailed it last year and that was amazing.I'd be happy with 11-5 and division champs, hopefully deep into the playoffs. It's a process.
USAF HART
Thanks....I'll just let it ride.I think this is the year that we get revenge on Philly. Kolb is a decent QB, but he is not McNabb. We also have a better secondary, and we want nothing more than to revenge our loss that the zebras gave the Eagles two years ago on the "muffed" punt. I think we take that one. The other game I think we will win is the Seattle game. They don't have an established QB. Whitehurts seems to be struggling and they don't have any go to receivers. Golden Tate will have a good career, but without a true QB, this game will be hard for their offense to put up points. Oh and they just released Babineaux as well, so their secondary is going to suffer a bit. I think the Falcons tee off on Seattle to show the Saints that we plan on avenging our week 2 loss.I see us going 13-3 with a loss to GB in the NFC CG. Point_Blank
Good predictions. I believe we can beat Philly finally though.
kschreck
I was hoping you'd predict 16-0...
Turner2endZone
I'll see your 11-5. That's what I was predicting also.
cnasty
I dont really see seattle pulling that one on us. That's just me, but even at our worst, I like us over Seattle. Cincy would be the trade off I would suggest. Their D is vastly overlooked and under rated.
FalconPio
11-5...Division champs...I'll Take it!Then ANYthing is possible in the playoffs
Goal Line D
Said it in the other thread. We will not loose to Seattle!12-
DemDirtyBirds4
I would be very happy with 11-5 and a division title.
blizzard_falcon
I agree with almost everything here, except I think we'll beat Seattle but lose to Carolina once, probably in Charlotte. The Panthers were much better last season once Moore took over for Delhomme (4-1 in their last 5 games) and I think a lot of people are underrating them heading into this season.I also think Baltimore is the team to beat this year in the AFC, although I'm not quite as high on Green Bay -- I still think they have a lot of questions in the running game and in their pass coverage beyond Charles Woodson. It'll be a high scoring game, though.
Arkansas Falcon
I'm saying 12-4 for a final record, division champs and a deep run in the playoffs.Super Bowl.... Who knows?
Ando
I got money on the 1st game.Hopefully, you'll go 16-0 again this season. If you do, I'll have a hella lot of money in my pocket by the end of the season Though I really would hate to lose to PHL for the 3rd year in a row , NO and BAL.I got a friend who's a Ravens fan and I'll be hearing from Saints bandwagon fans all year until week 16 when we make them put paper bags over their heads again There was not one Saints fan in Biloxi, MS until after Katrina. Stupid bandwagoners.
L.T.
Those predictions are very similar to mine: I have Atlanta finishing 11-5, too. However, I see the Falcons beating Philadelphia but losing to Carolina at Carolina. I also have the Falcons losing to Seattle, but I've been reconsidering that game and might give Atlanta the W. However, that game against the 9ers worries me.
