Dolphins Cut Patrick Turner

Recommended Posts

if a player can't make the squad of an team who's inferior to us, why would we want their rejects?? geesh i just don't understand all the "bring him home" threads about every freaking player who gets cut by another team, maybe there's a reason we didn't go after him before the other team did, much less take him after they've found out he's not all that OR a bag of chips...

WE SHOULD SIGN THIS GUY, HE IS ONLY 24 YRS OLD AND HAS HAD 1 SEASON TO DEVELOP, VERY INEXPENSIVE, AND IS PROBABLY BETTER THAN WEEMS OR FINNERAN FOR THE LAST WR SPOT, MAYBE A STEAL

Forget the Patrick Turner talk. I'm not trying to turn this into another thread, but....are you a falcons fan?" If so?" Why would you have a negative pic of Ryan layin on the turf?"

He's a troll that thinks he's funny posting garbage and getting other members to sign in, wondering "what are you talking about?". His username says it all.

actually... i'll give you a +1 on account that Patrick Turner was only active for 2games last year. Checking his highlights, he seems to be in the same mold of a DeAndre Brown (some1 this board is high on). Drafted in the 3rd round, but Fins wanted him to come in and start, it seems. Now maybe he didnt show enough in practice to be active, but we ALL KNOW, some players are just NOT perfect practice players. Some are just Live action breed players.

Faster than Finneran and bigger than Weems... worse case scenerio, he's a Redzone threat only at a 4th or 5th WR position. And currently, ATL seems to have problems putting the ball in the endzone inside the 20 (a problem we fans have seen before)... Best case scenerio, he was just down on his luck or training, switches teams and has a decent year. Gets some catches, maybe a TD under his beat, which helps him develop the confidence to explode in the future. (Which we've seen happen year in and year out throughout the league. Thats why they have the Comeback player of the year award. Remember Koren Robinson?? or Drew Brees??) it happens every year.

So with that being said, Cheaper than TJ, more upside via youth.... Maybe not bring em home, but atleast RENT THE KID A ROOM, TD!!!! LOL!!!

People complain about our 2009 draft. The "genius" Bill Parcells just cut his 2nd and 3rd round picks after one season.

A great point that nobody in the media will make. It's stupid, a guy that can make some one liners and jokes to the media will get free passes and be called a football genius forever.

If I had Lawrence Taylor in the era of slow footed offensive tackles (and no cocaine drug testing) and didn't win at least 1 superbowl I should commit sepuku.
