ChessPlayer1
The Steelers fanbase are almost split down the middle on who should they start come Sunday. Dennis Dixon seems to have the slight edge, but Charlie Batch is a close second. I personally would prefer to face Batch. He does have more experience, but he's less mobile. Who would you prefer and why?
Tribal Chief
I would prefer them playing the QB that gives them the best chance to lose. Why? Because I want the Falcons to start the season 1-

King ED
Dixon seems to be the favored QB...http://forums.steelersfever.com/showthread.php?t=56570http://www.steeleraddicts.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25464Another interesting note. I'm finding a lot of fire going towards Mike Tomlin, and especially their OC, Bruce Arians.

ChessPlayer1
I'd rather they start the QB that gives them the best chance of winning. . . seriously Well, I just feel that if we win this game we will not be given full credit for the win. If we lose we will get FULL blame for the loss.

joenate
Well, I just feel that if we win this game we will not be given full credit for the win. If we lose we will get FULL blame for the loss. And you know what, after thinking about this statement, you are exactly right. We win and there will be talk about how Ben didn't play and their defense had some early season rust/woes, etc, etc. It will never be the Falcons came to play or the Falcons played to win or the Falcons EARNED their win. If we lose, it'll be an all out panic bash attack on the Falcons. . . so, yea, I agree with you there. Tribal Chief
The main thing is no matter which QB we play against, the defense has to come to play at as if they're playing against Big Ben. We MUST get them off the field on 3rd downs and we MUST stop R.M. I think Robinson will be able to matchup against Ward but whoever is covering Wallace better bring it cause he can do some damage if given the chance
DiZzY_DeCuir33
DD did well against the Ravens last year. He did not win but DD concerns me.Not worried about Dixon...we have game tape on him now. B-more didnt have game tape on him so I think that played a role in the success Dixon had against them. bossFALCON™
i'd rather the qb that gives us the best chance of winning. i'll take a week of sportscenter saying we won because big ben was out over not making the playoffs/winning the division because of that loss.
