Duff_Man
@johnabraham55 "Ok I'm putting it out I'm considering refraining from drinkn after monday for the whole season who wants BETS reasonable wagers plz"Now everyone here knows I am a colossal professional drinker. However, I think that given his past troubles on the wagon that he should definitely stay off the booze for the season. Especially at the pro level. I know I would. ****, I told him I'd pick up his slack. I think we should get on his Twitter and make some bets with him! Stay hangover free, Abe!And...leave the morality out of this. Drinking is legal regardless of what your beliefs are and nobody cares that you've never had a drink in your life. Thanks.
sporkdevil
I already got my bet in. It's so good, I hope he has a drink or two during the season
NorCal Falcon Fan
An occasional drink is fine. Getting slobber knocker drunk is not. I hope he's not a guy (like me) that just loves the flavors of a good dark beer or CC&7 too much to stop after 1 or 2...
MattIceRyanMVP2
I personally do not drink but there is nothing wrong with someone wanting to have a drink every now and then. I am happy that Abe wants to stop drinking throughout the season, Good for him. Hopefully, that will make him all the better this year! Tandy
Well, I put my wager in. Hope he takes me up on it. Frankly, if he feels it is the right thing to do - then I hope I lose - but if it's going to happen, it's going to happen - and I'll take the win.
duncja
Having been there and done that, sounds like you need to meet my friend Bill W. www.aa.orgNot judging just saying.Pfft.. some people are unable to handle drinking and they get to the point where they're drinking every day, abusive, etc. Not all drinkers are that way. mastershake
That's me too. Love good brews and have a few liquors I just like the taste of. "One and done" rarely happens.Me too, the more I drink... the more I drink. I don't really get s faced just get a good buzz and then maintain. Just never seem to want to go to bed once I start. It seems like I'm always having too much fun. I know I'm not the same at work after a night of drinking so staying sober for the season can only be a good thing. Did I read that right?Actually, I'm not 100% on this, but I thought he quit after his DUI awhile ago. I don't think it's a big deal. He was smart enough to learn from the DUI, and he is now drinking responsibly.

He was smart enough to learn from the DUI, and he is now drinking responsibly.I had a DUI 1 year ago. It was a trivial one though, just got pulled over for speeding 14 mph over the limit on I-75. No-one was in any danger. I wasnt swerving or anything, there was no traffic. Just got caught in a speed trap. I was barely buzzed, not drunk at all. But I blew a .112, and that what was all it took.Did that stop me from drinking? No. All that did was cost me some money every week to pay the probation officer. But I dont drink more than 2 beers before I drive any more.

I think that DUI was part of the reason NY traded him. Think about it, get one more, and you are Vincent Jackson serving a 3 game suspension and you are considered a guy who can't stay out of trouble. But all I basically got was a slap on the wrist. Paid a weekly $40 payment, bought 120 cans of vegetables for a local food drive for my 40 hrs community service, and I was done.
