ATLUGA87
Just seen on NFL network that the texans released Kris Brown. Might be a good idea if we pick him up? Thoughts?
Dem Birds
I'm sorry, did we have a need for punching pop stars in the face this season? ...ohhhh KRIS Brown. Gotcha. Maybe.
k-train
No, that is not a good idea. He is not a better kicker than the one we have.
MattIceRyanMVP2
No. I'd rather keep Nance but if they release Arian Foster I would love to get him.
1989Fan
he is better from 40+I dont think we will do anything, and it could hurt us.Like I said before.Bryant:50% from 40+ his last season in Tampa29% from 36+ since coming to Atlantashould have kept Haushka at least through pre-season and made a more thorough decision. Coach Gary Kubiak contends that Brown has "kicked with it before," but upper management has been pulling for Rackers all along. Brown will be among Saturday's final cuts

kschreck
If I had the time and skill I would put Chris Brown's face on a picture of Kris Brown kicking a fg. It sounds funny, maybe one of you can pull it off?
dmite
He is absolutely terrible in the clutch. He blew a lot of games for the Texans with his late game misses.
cooperbh
He is absolutely terrible in the clutch. He blew a lot of games for the Texans with his late game misses. It doesn't matter. He's a FA, so he has to be better than what we have. Not to mention, he's 5'11" and 205 lbs - compared to Bryant's 5'9", 200.

MattIceRyanMVP2
Why doesn't anyone go after Leigh Tiffin? He was 23-of-26 field goals as a senior. Being that accurate in college says something.

Being that accurate in college says something. No it doesn't, at least not for the NFL. Seems like kicking should be basically the same from college to NFL, but there was a long list of kickers that couldn't quite cut it in the NFL posted here a few days ago. Just as any other position, success in college doesn't mean success in the NFL.

Thoughts?TD bring him home. :P He was money against the cowboys. The Texans had a tough decision. If Bryant screws up a hair against the Steelers and hes still avaialble, I bet hes on TDs speed dial. Atlsport
i wonder why... maybe its psychologicalHas to be part of it. Take Elam, he had proven himself for years in the league and even on this team the year before and all of a sudden just comes undone. I would just like to give the guy a chance. He's young also, So if he turns out to be good we can lock him up for awhile.
