ki46dinah
Give your opinions...I think Weems takes duties for KR and PR.Evidence? 1)He was solid last season.2)He was the 'starting' returner in PS.3)He is an OK receiver.4)HD and Norwood have recent injury histories.5)Franks has looked pathetic returning punts. FalconMama
My boo Eric Weems will handle those duties.
phattywankenobi
Since Weems has been doing it pretty much the whol pre-season I would say he is it. They gave Franks a shot last night and he looked a bit shaky. Maybe he just needs more reps. I don't know if the Falcons run 11 on 11 full speed returns much since it's the easiest situation to get hurt in.

apl2g
i'm all for Weems doing both. It always seems like he is a block away from breaking one! maybe this year he will catch that block a few times! that could be a real confidence boost
lystrodom
Weems is great. If he were slightly more elusive with punters, he could have had a couple of TDs last year.
Jesus
I don't think there is any question that it is Weems. Not that we have any say in the matter...

JC Falcon
Weems has been solid so I think he's the main guy.Maybe special situations Jerious comes in at KR if we need a big return, like the end of the Chicago game of '08.HD might be more elusive than Weems, but we can afford to lose Weems more than HD at WR.I agree Franks needs more reps in practice to get comfortable judging speed of people coming at him. He may come on late.

controlfreak
I hope they put Norwood back on kick returns. He is a lot better at it than weems.
The Falcon Jedi
I like little Weemie. He does returns really good. He has really good field vision on kickoff returns. He is going to break one for a TD one day if he can just figure out a way to get around the Kicker.

And HD is still healing IMO.

DirtyBirdSupabowl
I would love to see Douglas back there returning punts, he has more breakaway speed then Weems, he can make people miss and he looked real good at the end of the '08 season. As for Kick returns I think Weems is our best option.
autigerfan
No question we kept Weems for his return prowess. He has been quite solid in that capacity.
