kicker_jesus
Since most of us live on the East Coast I doubt very many of us saw this, but Hawaii's QB got jacked up by Michael Morgan of USC...that hit had Hawaii's QB down for a while. Unfortunately, I think Hawaii's QB saw the highlights of Stephen Garcia's run last night and thought he could do the same thing. However, he failed to realize that Garcia's run came against a lowly USM team and not USC http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vD2_dtau4rg Edited September 3, 2010 by kicker_jesus
SacFalcFan
i was up til 2am watching this game.. the first half was great (hawai was ripped off on that last td), but the depth and talent took over for usc in that 2nd half.

It is crazy to believe that USC's defense gave up that many points to a subpar Hawaii team. It could be an ugly year in the Pac-10 for those guys unless they get some things in order on that D... Volunteer Falcon
Monte's defense was horrible. I watched the whole game and couldnt believe how bad they looked. He couldn't defend the spread hardly last year to save his life, the college game is so diverse and he is used to really only facing pro style sets. I cringed last year every time we were about to play a spread team.
Gritzblitz 2.0
Part of the reason the D looked so bad was because they hardly have done any tackling in practice. This is because they are short on scholarships and are worried about injuries. In years prior, if someone went down USC could plug in another 5 star recruit and keep going. Those days are over for a while.
stumpjumper
They probably also thought it didn't matter. No matter how well they play, they can't go to a bowl game.

vthokie007
Hawaii put 588 yards against USC!! again, 588 YARDS!!! USC's defense just sucks I hope they lose at least 3 games this year. Can't stand Kiffin almost as much as I can't stand USC!!!

lex7500
Will Grantham be able to handle all the spread or non-pro style teams? That is something I am interested in seeing ..Florida, Auburn, GA Tech, MS State, Kentucky, should be interesting to see how he does first go around...
