Browns over Bucs: I think Delhomme solidifies his starting job this game. Don't know how, but I can see it.

Saints/Vikings: This game is truly difficult to even attempt to guess at. I'll leave it at, If the Saints defense continues their takeaway ways, they win. If the Vikings actually put pressure on Brees a lot, the Vikings win.

Steelers over Falcons: It will be interesting to see how Ryan handles a fierce defense right out of the gate. Without Big Ben in there, I think that defense will be playing above and beyond how they played last season.

Panthers over Giants: The Giants defense looks much like the Panthers defense did last preseason going into the regular season. Very shakey in some areas. That's what happens sometimes when you have a new DC and you have a lot of new players on your defense. The Panthers defense may not perform as well in the regular season as they have in the preseason but they will prove to be good. Double Trouble will rack up over 250 yards. #89 Will have close to 200 yards receiving. Matt Moore's job will be solidified.

SAINTS over Vikes. Because its at home, because they're dropping the banner, because its primetime, but mostly because I think the Vikes O is still out of sync. I also believe Payton will have something to prove after all the naysaying coming out of MIN this offseason.

falcons over Pitt. I'd like to go with Pitt, but I think atlanta should be too much for them now that Dixon will be starting.

Browns over Bucs. Tossup, but I'll go with the experienced QB until Free shows he's taken another step.

Giants over Panthers. How do you not score an offensive TD in four games, preseason or not?

Someone said it better on the huddle.

2010 preseason Pass attempts- (117- 6th in NFL) Rushing attempts- (70- 24th in NFL)

They were obviously working on their passing game this preseason. Not really worrying about anything else. Spending those 4 games being a pass first team without Smith was foreign to them. They had to get their young Wrs some practice though. I'm not worried about it. Double Trouble will get most of the plays called their way and a healthy Smith will draw half the defense to his side.

I hear you. I agree preseason is for working on getting better, but generally a team can score while doing it. I'm not as sold on Moore, being a non-fan, so I'm going to stay rather skeptical that offensive problems are going to disappear in the first regular season game.

NFC South will sweep in week 1

Vikings have too many offensive injuries to keep up

Steelers have no established QB and running game hasn't looked good

Panthers will run and then run some more

Bucs finally have some offensive pieces, and although they won't create highlight reels, they'll edge out Cleveland.

Vikes>Saints- Expect the Vikings to fulfill thier promise and BRees goes down with the season due to a re-injured shoulder. I'd say 28-24 Vikes

Falcons>Pitt- In all Reality thier defenese is very very good but, were very very good at stopping the run which is the only thing that Dixon can do. 17-10 Falcons, Very close defensive match Falcons Score 1 Pick six 1 FG and Return 1 for a TD.

Giants>Panthers- Not much to say here NY is Better on every part than the Panthers

Bucs>Browns- If they can shutdown cribbs on the return game and get decent pressure on Delhomme, They should be able to win this one. 24-21

Notice how every single Saint fan predicts the BUCS to lose? Just one of the many reasons their credibility is questionable at best.

For some reason I just feel Jake is going to pull a Bret Favre and come out smoking with his new team. Browns somehow fit Delhomme, scrappy and cast aside. Bucs are a mystery to me. I'm not expecting much from them and Freeman broke his thumb on his throwing hand.

yea i feel the same way about delhomme for some strange reason. freeman's finger injury and the browns secondary is not a good match. if any balls sail on him they could be going the other way for 6.

the bucs can definitely win this one though.

Ryan vs the return of the great Polamalu @ Pit-

Bret Favre vs Drew Brees and the Saints "purple people beater" Defense @ N.O.

John Fox vs Tom Coughlin and New York's new stadium... I just read a little article about that match up in fact, here's an excerpt- "The Giants closed their old stadium in embarrassing fashion in December, getting humiliated by the Carolina Panthers 41-9. The Panthers will be back at the Meadowlands on Sept. 12 as the first opponent at the Giants’ new $1.7 billion stadium."

Any of these predictions could go the other way, that's why they are just predictions. For all I know, Falcons could win and Saints could lose, but we still predict how things will turn out based on one's own logic....and 99% of the time I'm right....just kidding. :P

Freeman's already throwing full steam. They showed him throwing hard in pregame warmups last night. He'll be fine. He's going to be practicing all week. Sorry to disappoint you and all the Delhomoe fans.
