It's just a matter of a time when he gets back to being 100 percent." Falcons RapidReports7 minutes ago - S Thomas DeCoud on the team's approach with Pittsburgh a week away: "We went into camp wanting to get to the season opener healthy. markdzul
Question that i do not know the answer to and maybe someone can help me out on this. I have heard of other quarterbacks in the league getting together in the off season with the wide recievers to work on their routes and timing.... Does anyone know if Matty Ice did this in the off season or not?????this having to do with the accuracy issues posted above.... and IMO...Kroy needs to be held out of the last preseason game if there is any possibility of a problem. The kid showed up in mid season form and as far as im concerned needs no more reps.....

Falcons RapidReportsNothin' but love for ya Matty Ice, but I hope Smitty is on him about this. I dont think it will be as bad as pre-season, but his completion % has been falling, from average his rookie season to below average last year, and p1ss-poor this preseason. Tuesday, DBs coach Tim Lewis said the Falcons haven't worked on Robinson being a matchup CB in Atlanta's defense. Falcons RapidReports20 minutes ago - DBs coach Tim Lewis said CB Dunta Robinson has been lining up on the right side. "It's what he's always played," Lewis said. "Natural or not, I don't know. Again, in NFL You are never 100%I heard someone on NFLN (not talking about ATL) say that the problem with TC hamstring injuries is that they tend to linger all season, because the only remedy is complete and total rest. They've been resting him thusfar, and I hope this isn't going to be an ongoing thing with DRob.

I remember when Isaac Bruce used to get hamstring injuries that would hinder him all season. Usually when I had him on my fantasy team. But I tore my hamstring playing basketball pretty badly and I was back out there in 3 weeks and never had another problem with it.I guess Isaac just isn't the world class athlete that I am. Peyton
You're clueless. He shadowed the top WR last year not just whoever came to his side of the fieldOk. I don't see why he would be uncormfortable playing on the left side then, as I've read a couple of times.
LouDog
this mite be better for us. Wasnt Grimes much better on the leftside than the right side?
Peyton
this mite be better for us. Wasnt Grimes much better on the leftside than the right side? No, they both prefer the right side. Dunta tried the left side in mini camp and didn't like it, so he is going to be on the right side. Grimes will be on the left. bossFALCON™
dunta played RCB his first 5 years in houston. they got a new DC last year that allowed him to be a match corner. he stated in one of his interviews when he first got here that he liked RCB more than LCB, but would be a match corner if he needed to be.that's why i've been pushing for CO all along; grimes isn't so great on the left side. If Grimes starts struggling and/or gets beats a lot during the season, I could see Owens taking over the starting role.
