TheRidder
I thinks its too low we win by at least 10 dixon looked like a mess yesterday and leftwich looked even worse what do you think we will beat the steelers by?
falconfan82
If dixon starts we win by 6 if leftwich starts we win be
dmite
It's not what they think the score will be, it's what number can the put there that will get people to take the underdog and the favorite equally.
TheRidder
If dixon starts we win by 6 if leftwich starts we win be 14Idk dixon looked outrageously bad yesterday vs the broncos and their defense isn't very good especially when it was mostly 2s and 3s out there..... g-dawg
I think the Falcons have a better team - especially w/ Big Ben being out. Having said that, Steelers are tough to beat at home and the ball will bounce their way, get hometown officiating, etc.It will be a very close game. Probably "pick'em" or Falcons "-1"
TheRidder
Yea about that dixon thing vs ravens they still lost the game and I think our defense is vastly improved and will get to the qb I say we even pick off their qb whoever it may be at least 3 times.. Statick
He can run and any Qb who can move has always killed us and plus he played well against Ravens last yearQBs that aren't expected to run have hurt us in the past.
RFlagg
He can run and any Qb who can move has always killed us and plus he played well against Ravens last yearGame plan for this: normal line play, have Weatherspoon spy on passing downs. One big hit and he won't be as ready to run anymore.
kirbyr
Take that, only a FG to cover? That's an easy... wait Bryant is still our kicker?
Geneaut
I try not to read anything into betting lines. One way or the other this is going to be a tough game. We should never approach a game thinking we are assured of a victory.
TheRidder
I'm just talking about the betting line because I'm probably gonna bet money on the game and its a good bet because if I recall correctly were 10 and 2 in our last 12 opening week games. ConnFalcon
This is going to be a very tough game, even with no Benny. Nobody players seem to have good days against the Falcons for one reason or another.I just hope we play consistent football, and get the W. slamee101
I think they might be overreacting to the preseason game. Steelers at home is gonna be tough...PERIOD!I'm hoping that Leftwich won the starting job by default last night (didn't see the game but I heard Dixon was not good). Dixon is still a much more dangerous QB behind that O-line to break some for some big gains with his feet. The statue that is Leftwich is not outrunning anybody and he fires everything at one speed and over guys heads, and hopefully into our DBs waiting arms. Brewcrew
I got $100 on ATL earlier in the offseason at an even "pick-um", and that was before they lost their starting QB and RT. To think it has only moved -2.5 since then is crazy to me. Take it and run.

It's sad, but I can picture Dixon coming out and KILLING us with his feet. Once he does that, that will open up their passing attack. That is not a position we need to be put in. We need to come up swinging, knock him around, and KILL his confidence early. I hate to say it, but I want to do what the Saints D did against Favre in the championship game. He came out battered and bruised. (Assuming Dixon starts)
jaynap1
The NFL loves the Steelers. I'm not making a built in excuse in case we lose, just stating facts. Refs have come out from both of their Superbowl victories and basically said, "Look, we screwed up calls in that game and kind of handed the Steelers the trophy."Playing them at home in week 1 worries me for that very reason. If everything goes down the middle with the refs, we should win by a touchdown if we can get 3 and outs and keep their defense on the field. Cherokee Falcon
i don't care if we win by 1 or 30, as long as we win.well, i take that back. i would rather win by 30, but you know what i'm saying.

I don't see a running QB or TE doing what they have to us in the past.
ATLballer
we should be more worried that a team with a back up QB thats playing bad is only a three point underdog..If mat ryan was out we would be plus 10..Thats saying we're not thought of as much of a team

L.T.
I say we should be favored by at least 9 points, since Pitt doesn't have Roethl**b**ger. Personally, I think we'll win by a 23-10 score.
AtlantaFalconPokerPro
If dixon starts we win by 6 if leftwich starts we win be 14I'm calling my shot now, we win by 14 no matter who the QB is. Word is, is that Charlie Batch is going to start.
