pencilpusher. just because
Any player that will vote Sean Payton as a better coach than Billichick is NOT a player I would want on my team.

Guess that's why some falcon fans aren't players.
bossFALCON™
basically the same people that vote players into probowls, and we already know how that goes.....

Guess that's why some falcon fans aren't players.you guys are touchy 'neath those bags. I was commenting on the two coaches mentioned in the poll results. Peyton is a fine coach, take a deep breath. But better than a guy with all the Super Bowl rings and a guy who lost his future HOF QB in the first game of the year, took a guy who threw a total of 33 passes in college and still won 11 games? Please. How many games would most teams, including the Saints, win if they lost their starting QB in game 1?

bossFALCON™
Poll of 65 top NFL players with no picking your own team...that shouldn't matter. you're telling me everybody that votes in the probowl picks players from their own team?you guys are the defending champs, you're the media darlings, you've got the most explosive O in the NFL and a top 3 qb. of course a lot of guys are going to pick you.had NE, GB or indy won the superbowl a lot of people would be voting for them. the only reason i leave minnesota off that list is because they're dealing with injuries, so less would vote for them, but had they won the superbowl you could include them in that list too.you guys are touchy 'neath those bags. Please. How many games would most teams, including the Saints, win if they lost their starting QB in game 1?that's not even including the other 2 AFCCG appearances, 1 superbowl appearance and the fact that he's only had 1 losing season in the last 10 years.payton is a heck of a coach and an even better offensive mind, but bill b is on another level. WHODAT BEAST IN THE CELLAR
I like the quote from this thread: "you guys are the defending champs, you're the media darlings, you've got the most explosive O in the NFL and a top 3 qb. of course a lot of guys are going to pick you."Saints are on top of the world at this point in their history, wouldn't you agree? But we have been saying how Payton is simular the Belichick. But this is mostly based on now.As for losing our starting QB, that's an if. I'll woory about that if it happens. I think the saints would fare better than we would have last season. I feel confident in back up QB's.

I feel confident in back up QB's. Not touchy at all. I have said plenty I wish Jerry would have kept Payton, so obviously I think he's a good coach. But don't take a poll seriously that puts him above Billichick. Patrick Ramsey looked good last night, and I am actually happy for him. Steve Spurrier almost ended that guys career with his stint on the skins, sending out 4 - 5 WR's and letting Ramsey get killed every play. But you and I both know you would rather eat a stink bug than see Ramsey take the field in regular season. Most starters are starters for a very good reason. WHODAT BEAST IN THE CELLAR
The players around the league know what's up. They always knew about the O, now they are feeling that D coming on.
