slamee101
question is for how long???is it worth the risk to play him longer than then usual or take caution with him???Not to me. I hope he gets 5-8 snaps. He knows the playbook, he's been in the system...I don't feel like he needs a ton of reps.
~SEAMILL~
It is good news, but I would just rather save him for the season. Its sad we have to be so concerned about him getting hurt all the time. Edited August 26, 2010 by ~SEAMILL~

He just needs those 5-8 snaps to shake the rust off, and get ready for the season. He has had PLENTY of time to read that playbook inside and out.We really need him on the field this year. He brings another dynamic to our offense.

marcVA
it's always good to test your toy before you commit to it. with that being said, put him on the field. let's see if he still has his quick moves.
1989Fan
if he gets hurt again do we just cut ties to keep either Smith or Nance? Smith looked pretty good last game.I hope we get a storybook ending w Norwood tho. He has such talent, and is my 8 years old's football hero. (BTW he had 3 carries for about 85 yards in our scrimmage yesterday )edit: HE, meaning my son had the carries, lol.
FalconMama
I hope he stays healthy because he's a needed asset on the field.. But unfortunately I think that this is the last year we'll see Norwood suit up for us.
I MUS WRITE
I say we play him alot this week just to see if his frail body holds up. If he gets hurt again then we hand him his pink slip and move on....That simple -we have to pull the plug on this guy if he cant stay healthy. Nice that your sons team let him use the scrimmage as a tune-up for Friday--hope Norwood has the same success vs. Miam!
Dr. Billings
Pathetic! We are hoping that a football player stay healthy while playing several plays in a football game. This says a lot. One, it says he's not dependable. Two, it says he's cleared to play but what about our other fragile players? Moore, Robinson, Williams, will we rejoice because they play? They are paid to play, people. And paid handsomely.

dmite
He has to if he wants to make the team, he's got to show them something. I know he's better than the other guys we're trying out, but if he can't get on the field, he's not going to make it.

We know how dynamic Norwood can be, JN just can't stay on the field long enough. Edited August 26, 2010 by The Birds are the truth
