Anyone else have the feeling...

That our first "BIG" game of the season is Sept 26. I think we will see 2-0 ATL visiting 2-0 New Orleans. No matter how well we play in our first 2 games, we will be underdogs against the Saints. If we win that game, I think a lot of the Nay-sayers will be nowhere to be found. If we lose, the usual message board arguments will continue. It's my opinion that we win the game, move to 3-0, and start to gain respect around the league.

The Vikings will beat the Ain'ts.

Ha! That game is still two weeks away and the city is teetering to explode over that night already. Everybody has their plans ready. The queens have no chance. They'll also get bad karma for dragging that old man back on the field against his gut feelings.

Now 9/26, Falclowns migh thave a chance. It's the first noon game for the Saints and coming off a short week from the west coast. It might be the clowns best chance, but after 16 games, it still won't matter.

So...what you are saying is..."Whether the Falcons win or lose at New Orleans, they will still win the division!"

I couldn't agree with you more :)

Honestly I don't care what the Saints record will be going into the game, all I care about is that there will be one game added to their loss column that day and another one on Monday night in week 16!!!!

Go Falcons!!!!!

I appreciate your optimism. But I tell you what, the Falcons better not sleep on Pittsburgh. Dixon and Leftwich are looking decent enough to do some damage, and the Kamikaze Samoan is back, and healthy. Honestly, this game makes me a little nervous.

Pittsburgh..starting a basically immobile qb...with broken down Flozell Adams lined up against John Abraham...after trading away their Superbowl MVP...putting the full burden of the RB position on Mendenhall...is a scary team.

Why? Because the refs and the league have basically come out and said that they've handed them their two most Superbowl wins. If they're going to hand them Superbowls, why not a home opener?

There's no reason for Pittsburgh to be any good this year unless their defense scores a TON of points.

not a chance, especially with rice out...and its gonna be very difficult to beat them at home,it can be done, but we will need some things go our way...but when they come to our dome later in the season,i dont think they get out of there with the win, unless they have everything go their way...thats gonna be a must win for us imo

AP just needs to cut his fumbles in half from the championship game and they'll be good. :D

The Steelers game is the big game. I think it's going to be a very difficult game for the Falcons to win, but it sets them up pretty well if they do.

I have sold more woof tickets for this game than for any other game I can remember. I am surrounded by Squeeler fans, including my brother and they talk more ****. I really want, no NEED the Birds to win this game. :(
