Quinton Ayers
Not to get too over-excited over just rumors, but it's preseason and this is more fun than topics about how our team is DOOMED, because we lost a preseason game.Anyways, to get to the point. Aside from all the talk of "we wouldn't do that, because he's got character issues" or "it will be dumb, because he wants too much money".. is it just me, or would we not have one of the scariest offenses (on paper of course) of dare I say.. all time? blackredfellow
haha. nice. I wouldnt say the scariest offense of all time, but it would be scary. It could possibly be the scariest Falcons offense ever. I know its probably not gonna happen, but I too am gonna dream of picking him up until its official it aint happening. Quinton Ayers
Maybe I'm not so good with football history. But I can't remember the last time a team had a HoF TE, 2 Pro-Bowl recievers, a Pro-Bowl runningback, and a franchise QB all on the same team. The Greatest Show on Turf lacked a TE, and the Cowboys in the 90's were great too, but I'm really trying to keep my bias out of this and I just can't think of a scarier offense (all-around of course) than our line-up with the addition of Vincent Jackson. I'm asking a very serious unbiased question here.
HouseofEuphoria
is it just me, or would we not have one of the scariest offenses (on paper of course) of dare I say.. all time?We would have enough to rival the Saints, that's for sure. And winning our division is half the battle.I hope TD is all over this. Falconsfan567
It would be awesome to get Vicent Jackson but it's just wishful thinking. The Chargers would be mighty stupid to trade him. They don't have another receiver even close to Jackson on their roster.

Smiler11
Am I the only one that thinks Vincent Jackson is overated?! Obviously he has been productive in San Diego's system, but he only runs a couple of routes and has poor hands. There is no doubt he is an upgrade over Jenkins, but is he worth $10M a year? The Falcon Jedi
Mularkey can barely figure out a way to get the ball to Roddy. All we do is throw to Gonzalez. We have Harry Douglas back now anyway.

You can just about count on Gonzo getting the ball on 3rd down, he's just so good that most guys can't cover him or he draws a flag. That's when White should be open for the long shot down the field (3rd and long).

We have Harry Douglas back now anyway. My take on that is we fully developed the plays for the TE position last year.My concern with all of this is that there will not be enough plays in any one game for an even distribution of the ball. With that said. The only way this would work is for all players to be selfless and the goal in everybody's mind is the Lombardi. With that issue settled, which player start complaining about the lack of touchesbecause his or "her" production numbers are dropping ? One thing I'e come to realize is that people on this board go ga-ga over the remote possiblity of signing any FA/Holdout/UDFA... T.O., Revis, Haynesworth, Henderson, etc...The grass is always greener.
