  1. 1. Which One Do You Like Better

    • Falcons going 4-0 in the preseason and then 0-16 in the regular season? (2008 Lions)
      0
    • Falcons going 1-3 in the preseason and then 12-4 in the regular season and winning the Super Bowl (2006 Colts)
    • I don't agree with either option.

Regardless of the records, I just want to look like a REAL team, kind of like the Pats right now. It seems like they make the right move at the right time, it seems like they never have to rebuild they just reload. It seems like there play calling is always the right call. I just want to look like them. Patriots are the blue print that every team should follow, IMO.

It's because they have 1000 first round picks every year. I think Belichick pulls them out of his a**.

And if you look very closely you will see that Thomas Dimitroff is following that script. The reason the Patriots are always loaded is because they stock pile draft picks and make good sound decisions with those picks so that when they lose a player to injury they have another ready to step in and replace them. They get rid of other players 1 year too early rather than 1 year too late. Dimitroff is doing the same thing. It takes time. The Pats winning the Super Bowl in 2001 in Bellichick's 2nd year was a total fluke. It wasn't till 2003 (his 4th year) that they had finally started building up enough depth to where they didn't miss key players do to injury.
