ATLbound
I'm pretty sure he either had 0 or only 1 catch against him last night. I haven't looked at any stats or anything. I just remember from watching the game. That's pretty good to be on the side of Moss most likely the whole time he was in there. Also I, like everybody else, have to make note of that play on Welker. That was amazing awareness. Based on these first 2 preseason games, I really don't see anyway Brian Williams will be ahead of Owens or Grimes. gathroughnthrough
too early to tell and that play on welker was more so because moss didnt hold his block. great awareness yes, but a hint of another man not doing his job too.
Dharma Initiative
I think the job is his to lose. They may give it to Williams to start the season but Owens looks to be our #
Guest Gritz
I really like what I have seen from Owens so far.I dig the athleticism from Grimes, but I believe overall there is a higher ceiling from Owens.........Robinson and Owens if it was up to me....... Dharma Initiative
I bet Grimes would have something to say about that. And I'd say he's had 2 rough seasons as a starter where he had interceptions at the end of the season against three rookie QB's and made everyone forget he isn't the answer. ATLbound
too early to tell and that play on welker was more so because moss didnt hold his block. great awareness yes, but a hint of another man not doing his job too.actually Owens went around the block. He avoided the block. The reason why that play is so effective is because by the time the cb realizes they are doing it, the blocker is already there. Owens awareness of the play didn't give Moss proper time to block him and he took a good angle. It was more Owens than you think
