I have been looking up some around the internet and I tried to come up with my own. What you guys think of it? I saw several that had Brian Dawkins that high and I put up Ed Reed because in my opinion he has been the better safety.

Yeah Jim Brown is literally above every one of those RBs, he is the best ever.

I can't put him above Payton. Sorry. But is he really better than Sanders or E. SMith? Smith is the all time leading rusher. I feel bad for not having him in the top 3.

And i'd like to put Unitas on there. But I don't have him above any of the guys up there. My all time QB list looks like this:

Manning

Brady

Montana

Unitas

Marino

Elway

Namath

He's a d!ck, but Favre should be among the best of all time. Too many INT's, but his durability, longevity and a Super Bowl make up for that.

Brown also played in a time when the NFL was like 12 games long and then 14 games long. He also shared carries with another back at some point his name doesn't come to mind right now. But both rushed for 1k plus yards which was an amazing feat back in the day.

Chris Carter needs to be one of your WR's.

Montana has to be the #1 QB. The true test for Qbs is howe the play under pressure, and nobody was better than Montana in big games. 4 SB wins, 3 MVP awards, and led aruably the greatest game winning drive in SB history. I'll take that over QBs who put up fanstasy numbers in regular season and underperform at playoff time (e.g. Favre, Marino, Manning).

Jim Brown and Walter Payton are the 2 best RBs of all time. You could include Brown as your FB. I'd take Smith over Sanders as well.

I agree with uga_dog about Chris Carter. He had the best hands I've ever seen.

I added up a ton of "experts" opinions and according to their accumulative opinions, the top ten QBs of all time are:

1. Joe Montana

2. Johnny Unitas

3. Peyton Manning

4. John Elway

5. Brett Favre

6. Tom Brady

7. Dan Marino

8. Otto Graham

9. Steve Young

10. Bart Starr

You guys agree? I don't but I don't think it's a terrible list. I still like Brady higher than where he is. And I love Unitas, but I would say that Manning is the better Colts quarterback.

I'd put Brady #2 or #3, and drop Manning Back 2 or 3 spots. I'd also swap Favre with Young.

Manning needs to win at least 1 more SB (and actually play well in the big game) before he deserves a top 3 spot.

Thank you. Brady had a year where he threw 50 touch downs! He was the quarterback of the best offense ever (in 07) and that would have been the best team ever if they had won the big game. 3 rings on top of that. I think he isn't getting the love he deserves because of the last 2 years he hasn't been on par with Manning (although he was out one of those years) and people are quickly forgetting how dominant of a force he was. Hopefully he will bounce back this year though.

Oh btw, the most TDs Montana ever threw in a regular season was 31. I still see Montana as absolutely dominant and I like him in the top 3, but to say that Brady is that far below is a bit crazy I think.
