WTA
So the NCAA cleared Thomas, who is still the head coach at Florida International University, to be a consultant for the Knicks, where his job will include "recruitment of players"... :unsure:So a head college basketball coach has a paying side gig with an NBA team... :blink:And the NCAA is allowing it... :wacko:Does this make any sense to anyone else? I mean Thomas has the full right to tell an incoming freshman, "Yeah, I know your ultimate goal is to get to the NBA. Well I happen to work for an NBA team, and they have a lottery pick pretty much every year. Wanna be the next Knick?"I mean the NCAA hasn't made much sense in alot of their decisions in the past, but this one takes the cake...Thoughts? WTA
I guess I'd be a little more concerned if I thought he was gonna be any good at either of these jobs he has...
lex7500
As a lifelong Knicks fan, I want nothing to do with Isiah, ever, for ruining the last 10 years of Knicks basketball...How this is okay with the NCAA, I have no idea.
Unknøwn
The bigger question is should the Knicks allow this? What the **** are they thinking
youngbloodz
The NCAA is becoming a joke. No, they are already a joke.
Dynamic Duo
Why isn't the NBA looking into this? He was involved in getting Amare to the Knicks. Something is fishy here. Especially considering he it the sole reason the team was in such cap ****.
