I don't think he realizes that the NFC South has never finished in the same order as the prior year. Don't see NO going 12-4 and breaking the Madden Curse. They benefited from a lot of luck and coaxing from the NFL to help the city. If their defense causes 40 turnovers again then I would consider them legit, but if the refs make correct calls (i.e. the missed PI on Vilma that let Porter take the pick six in before halftime, the non-PI on Grimes) then they won't have a chance once Brees' goes down after week 5.

interesting... the nfc side does not look all that far-fetched on paper... at least it seems less goofy than the what if guys.

I am not buying we lose a playoff game to San Fran though! total BS

His reasoning for the Falcons loss makes sense, but I agree, I don't see it.

I can already see it: The Falcons are -3 over the 49ers despite being the lower seed and the road team. The public is betting the **** out of Atlanta. "How are the 49ers going to beat the Falcons?" clueless ESPN analysts will ask. "San Francisco stinks! They're only in the playoffs because the NFC West sucks!" most casual football fans will exclaim.

But not me. San Francisco has been waiting for a playoff game since 2002. The rabid fans will be going nuts. Plus, the 49ers have the better defense.

This will be my January NFL Pick of the Month - and I'll be eight units richer by the time this game is over.

I cannot buy into the Carolina is better by addition thru subtraction thingy either...sketchy if you ask me. Tampa Bay looks better situated. Flip them in their order...

Then flip us and NO and you got yourself a pretty darn good prediction...Trust me on that you betcha!

I think we win the Steelers and Packer games, especially the home with the Packers. We seldom loose at home. Also with with the Steeler's 1st string QB suspended, I think we win that game. The Steeler's defense would have to win that game for them and I think our offense is better than that.
