They also just interviewed michael turner. Summary is basically typ answers...more fit refreshed. They also asked him about ladanian tomlinson and he replied great teammate but couldn't comment on him leaving in controversy. Mike and mike asked him if hed rather juke or truck someone. He of course said truck.

just fyi...not that these clowns typically know what they're talking about anyways...but falcons related...

From the sound of it, they might predict big things for Atlanta and this year everybody will talk about how smart they are. Will be typical around here, one year media guys are idiots when they don't predict us to win a superbowl, the next they are brilliant because they predict us to be in the playoffs.

1. Ryan ready to take a bigger role? Yes - Golic, Yes - Greeny Ryan might not be on the elite level, just a step below for his career - Golic

2. Is Turner ready to bounce back? Need him to - Golic, Yes - Greeney

3. Do Falcons have more underrated pass catching corps? Like's the receivers - Golic, love the, set up to be a big team this year - Greeney

4. Have the Falcons made enough changes to upgrade inconsistent defense? Golic - unsure, might stop the Falcons from getting to the super bowl.

5. Record prediction? Golic - 10-6, Greeney - 11-5 If D can answer questions, they can do better - Golic

Golic has to be laziest sports commentator ever. One week says we have the worst offseason in the NFC, now predicts us to be a better team. As far as Greenberg's prediction, I think 11-5 is fair, I think we'll be better, but I'm cool with that prediction.

Not sure I follow. Just because a team doesn't have a good offseason doesn't mean they cannot improve when they get guys back from injury and general improvement of young players. He said we'd get 1 game better, and expected offense to be good/improve and Ryan & Turner to be healthy. He also said he was concerned with lack of changes/improvement on the D which is consistent with his statements about our offseason.

He said we had the worst off-season in the NFC. He didn't just say we didn't do enough, or we didn't address the DE postion. But to single us out as having the worst off-season, without recognizing the Carolina, the Cards, or the Giants all lost significant players to FA, or injury, and then say we got better is inconsistent. The only legitimate critique of our off-season was not adressing DE, but those critics are not taking into account Kroy or Sid's development. Can you have a bad off-season and get better? Sure, but to say someone had one of the worst off-seasons in the NFL, which was a joke, then say we make the playoffs a few weeks later with no clarification of why we had the "worst", is lazy. He was grasping at straws in that NFL Live segment because he didn't know what we had actually done in the off-season. That was my point.

Slammed is a little strong...he just didn't put him on the brady manning level.

He's only going into his third year, and Golic said he wouldn't be an Elite QB. He just didn't say he wasn't now, he said he didn't see him ever being an Elite QB.

To me, that's slamming Matt Ryan, when you count him out after the promise he's shown in just two years.

I watched the whole segment on TV. Out of the two of them, Mike Greenberg was more hot for the Falcons then Golic.

I agree except I don't consider golic saying ryan is one step below manning as slamming the guy.
