Netflix on PS3 going disc-less in October

Recommended Posts

Well if you don't need a disc to run netflix, then you'd never get to put any disc in it, since the PS3 has no games.

Apparently they do since you feel the need to point out they don't everytime PS3 mentioned.

To fight over superiority of a video game system that you didn't make is classic. You and the 360 fanboys can go back to your clubhouse now.

Well, by late October.

They also say they'll be studying how Hulu Plus is received and used by the PS3 community around that time, and see if they can use their findings to improve the Netflix application.

I wonder if you will still have to put movies or shows in the instant queue or if you will be able to browse through ps3. Its kind of a pain the way it is now.

So based off what you're saying here, the PS3 has no games. Okay. Glad we could agree on things.

They really need to improve what's available for streaming on console. I could even be happy if they expanded it to include what's available for streaming if you use a browser on a PC. The selection of movies they have right now for streaming is mostly craptacular, whether you're using a PS3 or a 360.
