London
Ok, so first question, are you more excited about defense or offense coming into this season?1=D, 2=O.1: If you're more excited by the D, which area in particularl excites you most?1A: D-line1B: Linebackers1C: Secondary2: If you're more excited by the O, which area in particularl excites you most?2A: O-line2B: Recievers2C: Ground attack2D: Matty Ice3: Or if you're most excited by the special teams, vote 3.Tell us why too.For me it's all about the D, and personally I'm most excited by the Linebackers. I get the feeling Weatherspoon is gonna become my favourite player very quickly, so I can't wait to see him on the field. The Secondary is a close second (get it?) though, and I can't wait to see Dunta and Willy Mo in action, as well as the progression of Decoud and Chris Owens. Exciting times... SWIFT HITTER
Matt Ryan..3rd year... in same system.. this is the telling year to me..If he develops and turns into a Aaron Rodgers type QB and we see that development process we can have something really special here in Atlanta. I think last year Ryan took a slight step back in development .He relied to much on Tony G without going through his reads. If he takes the next step this year and by all means it looks like he will we will have a ring not to long and maybe more then 1..If Ryan has a just a ok year nothing special /not bad..Then of course we will go forward with Ryan but wont have the same enthusiasm as we once had his rookie year.. I'm very confident in Matt, and very excited to see what he can achieve this year, but now is when we find out if he's a Manning/Brady type future HoFer, or just a solid NFL starter. I have full confidence that the return of HD, Norwood and a fitter, leaner Turner will help him show he's in the former category.

pzummo
I am most excited about the offense. If everyone stays healthy, I really think they have the potential to be the most efficient offense in the league. I cant point to any one aspect, Ryan's 3rd year, Turner back to form, Roddy coming back better than the coaches have ever seen him, Harry Douglas' impact coming back, the OL getting nastier in the offseason. This total package has me feeling like a Toys R Us kid!I am definitely more curious about the defense. I cant wait to see who steps up at DE this season, how Jerry will look coming back from injury, Weatherspoons impact at LBer, who wins the other corner job, who starts at Safety, and how good Dunta will be in our scheme. Its exciting stuff, but the curiosity factor tends to offset excitement unlike with our offense
