Mr Pickle1
Whatever, deep down, all most of us care about in sports is whether we win or lose. The W counts just as much, and if it is the difference between making the playoffs and not making the playoffs, wouldn't you all prefer the guy is hurt and can't play? It's not like he died, or his life is going to fall apart. He's incredibly lucky to be an NFL player, and he had a rough moment. My concern for his discomfort is about 1/100th of my concern for the Falcons upcoming season.
Falcon Freddie
Have a little class! Nobody likes to see a player go down!A player injury is not something anyone with any class wishes for. However, it happens (and happened), and it would be a very dull coaching staff who didn't think of how this unfortunate happenstance to the opposing team could not be used to advantage.Unless Lefty has remarkably improved as QB since 2007, when he stunk-up the field playing for the Falcons, he needs all the help he can get in any case. Nevertheless, the Steelers will have more than two months to make adjustments, so let's not get too convinced the Steelers won't be able to give Leftwhich some protection. FalconPio
Yea I get what you were trying to do but we (the falcons) are becoming a real powerful team.A team that does not care who is starting on the opposing team.We (the Falcons) dont need any so called "lucky breaks"We (the Falcons) are trying to show the nation that we are a force. And we can only do that by going up against the best around the country.Shoot, i even hate that ben isn't playing. I dnt want any excuses from an anti falcon fan that comes up with a reason as to why we won.2010-2011 Falcons Baby!! Rise up! Statick
Well, Seeing as that they wont be at full power Id at least like to see them win.I want to see us win as well. I just don't want to hear the whining and excuses from Steelers fans when we beat them.
FalconinPA
Healthy or not, I just want a win. Last year teams weren't worried if we healthy or not when they beat us. A win is a win too me, regardless of who plays. One game could be the difference in winning the division or a playoff spot.
Jaymadd
That's food for thought. In the future I will word this differently.Man I totally get what you are saying. WE didnt wish for him to get hurt, but he did and the Steelers not having a OLine at 100% will help us. I dont care how we get our Wins, I just wanna win baby. INjuries happen just look at happened to us and I am pretty sure that those teams we faced were a little less worried about our offense when Ryan and Turner were injured as well as a few of our OLine. The name of the game is about winning, and if we happend to win because the Steeler Oline is not at 100% then that is all good with me. The people who gave this poster -1 are lame straight up. HouseofEuphoria
I'd rather we win when they're at full power.Me too. But one injury doesnt make or break that Steelers O-line anyway. And the Steelers wont use this injury as an excuse. No way. Those guys are big, tough, and they'll play for 60 minutes. As long as they got Komoeatu(sp?) they'll be fine. Dude is a monster. Plugging in Pouncey isnt exactly scraping the bottom for talent either. They'll be tough enough to crack, whether 100% or not.

rightsaidfred
The Falcons should win when we play them. Hmmm....something about chickens, counting and hatching............?? :unsure:I'd rather we win when they're at full power. And I agree - a win is a win, but I'll always want the other team to be at full strength. No whining, no 'what-if-ing', just a solid victory. If you're gonna be the best, you have to beat the best. I would take beating the worst, best or in between if it means getting us to capturing the Lombardi trophy. Although, I don't wish injury on anyone, the only team that I care about being at full strength are the Falcons

stoned_jc7
gonna whup dat azz anyway. The steelers will be ready to play. But the falcons have a whole lot to prove this year. Yeah, I don't know that I am ok with celebrating a guy being hurt. Now Rothlesburger, thats a bit different. If numbnuts isn't out there because he got suspended, I am just going to look at that as Karma swinging back in our favor for the Vick thing.
