Statick
I hope he lost some weight for the role. But then again, since Kato did all of the heavy lifting in that duo, I guess it won't matter.Seth Rogen as 'The Green Hornet'Rogen plays Britt Reid, a rich, spoiled playboy who is heir to Los Angeles' largest newspaper fortune. When his father (Tom Wilkinson) dies, Britt teams up with resourceful company employee Kato (Taiwanese artist Jay Chou) to do something worthwhile with the resources at his disposal. Armed with the help of his new secretary, Lenore Case (Cameron Diaz), and The Black Beauty, an indestructible, weapon-packed car, The Green Hornet and Kato battle chief underworld criminal Benjamin Chudnofsky ('Inglourious Basterds' baddie Christoph Waltz) and his united army of gangs. Directed by Michel Gondry ('Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind') with a script written by Rogen and Evan Goldberg ('Superbad,' 'Pineapple Express'), the film is based upon the classic radio serial, which ran from 1936 to 1952, created by George W. Trendle.

muskokas finest ©
Here's the trailer for anybody interested: Green HornetHave to wonder when a studio releases a movie in January.
Statick
Have to wonder when a studio releases a movie in January.I have a theory about that. My belief is that the two biggest times for major money revenue is in the summer and during the Holidays. I'm pretty sure the studio who made the Green Hornet knows that it wouldn't fare to well against the sure-fire blockbuster movies that are usually released during the summer and holiday times, so they'll play it safe by releasing it early in the new year. Using that lull in the begining of the year means less competition from the higher revenue-making movies. So if the movie flops, they'll make their money back from the people who go to the movies in January due to them being bored and wanting to kill time till the summer comes.
