Below are the total amount of money spent and the percentage of our GDP invested by our government into our military between 1910 and 2007 based on the dollar value in 2003. I thought the money we spent for WWI and especially WWII in contrast to other wars like Vietnam, Korea, and even today's conflict in Iraq was interesting.

Thoughts? I wonder how the stark differences in money spent during those times plays into our economical growth.
