He also had Ryan on three of his fantasy football teams.“I told him he was balling for me until he went down with that toe injury, and I had to start (Steelers QB) Ben Roethlisberger after that,” Hinske said. “I just told him good luck this year and to stay healthy… He seemed like a great guy. Good dude to be the face of that organization.”Hinske, who is 6-2, 235, played running back on his high school team growing up in Menasha, WI and is a big Green Bay Packers.“I’d rather be a football player, than a baseball player,” Hinske said. “But there’s a lot more longevity in this game here….(But) I could put 30 more pounds on tomorrow if you want me to.”Hinske tried to give Ryan a taste of the pro baseball life on Wednesday, offering his bat to Ryan by the batting cage.“I tried to get him to hit,” Hinske said. “But nobody would let him hit because they don’t want him to pull an oblique.”

falken
They had Ryan in the booth during the top part of the 2nd inning. He was well spoken and seemed very excited about the upcoming season. He said that he would have loved to take part in batting practice but that the Falcons weren't keen on the idea of him getting hurt while taking BP. He talked about being a three sport athlete in highschool and he played SS and P in baseball. He also played basketball in highschool but was told that football was his best sport. Falcon Fantom
Cool $H!+. The Hawks got a new coach. The Braves are doing great this year. The Falcons look like superbowl contenders and Team USA(FIFA) came out of a 0-2 whole to ndraw. Shouldve won because of a bad call but they live to kick another day. aerosmith67
Nice to see it's just not the fans that think Ryan is a great face for the Falcons. I've loved watching the Braves so far this year, hopefully the Falcons can pull off an even better season.Come October it would be nice to see the Braves and Falcons on top of their Divisions. michael garvin
The best part of this article was the last line. Because you know they are serious about pulling an oblique.
