New UGA Football Facilities -- With Pictures (Part I)

The "indoor" practice facility that CMR has wanted all this time looks pretty small to me. About the size of 2 basketball courts. Is that really it?

That isn't an indoor practice facility. At least not a full size one, it is only big enough to run some drills in from what I heard. The REAL IPF is still not even in the plans...

I think I've heard CMR say that the cost/benefit of a full-size indoor practice facility doesn't really work out. I don't think it's even very high on his wish list. The practice facility is sort of small; i think it's about half a football field. But it allows the team to do walk-throughs and other activities while weather is bad. CMR might not feel that we have enough issues with missing practice due to weather to warrant a full-size indoor practice field.

yep it's a multipurpose facility with walk throughs and other type of work that the team needs to do.. just not a full scrimmage, but they can do plenty in it. cmr still has in his sights the indoor practice facility.. damon gave him a choice and cmr chose right now to do the other upgrades which are more impt that just the practice facility.
