Commitment announcements this week..

Recommended Posts

Peake commits to clemson.

James vaughters will commit to stanford imo on thursday at 11am

Watts Dantzler commits to uga on sunday.

Tech got some 2 star safety yesterday i don't remember the name of ( 3 commits in 4 days actually) and the vols picked up 2 (brian randolph and an rb named smith i believe).

For dawg fans peake pretty much said a lot when he didn't show up for this weekend's camp after visiting clemson last week many thought he was going to commit to clemson soon, but that was pure guess work. UGA isn't sending our more wr offers so they are comfortable with who they have, but who is the last wr commit? ;)

That stinks about Peake. I always figured he was clemson bound, but held out a little hope that with Lemay we might have had a chance. Oh well. So is it safe to assume that you have an idea of who the 4th WR commit is or will be?

Well... who is this WR you feel like we have a shot at? Rashad Greene?

I was wondering why Peake didn't show up this weekend. :/

I'm pretty sure Greene is already a soft to FSU. After he and Bobby visited eh was going to commit but Bobby stopped him. Now that Bobby has us as his leader as well as Rashad I think he will be ours.

We will be getting a visit from Greene, so that gives us a chance. I think we definitely need one more WR. Phillip Dorsett appears to be leaning towards UNC, so I don't think we have a chance there. Then there's JaJuan Sotry and Tobias Singleton, I have no idea where we stand with either.

I'm not sure how your depth is but WR is in no way a need for us. So you guys could probably pull Rashad but as of right now hes ours to lose.

He will be at FSU this week for camp. With as close as he is with Coach Gran he could possibly commit aswell.

We're giving him the playing time pitch since we most likely lose two receivers after this year and then we're down to like five scholarship receivers. I think he's wanting PT so that'll keep us in the hunt, hopefully he won't commit to FSU anytime soon. Just gotta keep him uncommitted until he visits us ;)

Losing Peake hurts man. That's one of our few big losses we've had during this recruiting season.

I don't understand why top players commit to a school like Clemson. Peake will never even approach what he could be in college there. Such a waste, at least they should be able to get him to the NFL, thanks to his own talent.

We are in excellent shape with Jajuan. Tobias I hear is completely wide open!

Clemson is quite capable of putting players into the NFL. Not sure why anyone would think otherwise.

Sorry, you are right. I should have said something more along the lines of "high in the draft". Clemson puts plenty of kids in the NFL. In rounds 4-7. :D

we didn't lose peake.. he grew up a tiger fan and we tried pretty hard to get him.. if he was committed in the state of georgia and went elsewhere then i would agree we lost him..

regarding greene he is from georgia and he is showing us a lot of interest, but i do not believe he will be a dawg.

Malcolm Mitchell is actually a corner, not a safety.

And Sac, to clarify, I think you can call Peake a loss because of how hard we went after him and how close we were to stealing him from his hometown team. Peake is one of the first guys we went hard after that we couldn't quite bring in. Clemson shouldn't lose a guy like him, so in the end it worked out how things were projected from the beginning. However, we will be getting that kid Jay Rome. ;)

JaJuan Story appears to be the only other WR remaining, that we have offered so far.
