SkySorrOW
since i moved back home, ive watched NFLN like 3 times, since i dont have cable in my bedroom, and im honestly not missing it too much. Its true, everytime I turn it on its always about Tebow or Big ben. its pretty sad, it used to be good afew years ago with real news now its just the same one story drug thru the water for weeks (Farve watch 2008 anyone??) Falcons 'til Death
I routinely go to sleep with TOTAL ACCESS on ( I work nights ). I found there's nothing better to lull me to sleep then to listen to Eisen or La Confora rehash the same old stuff every night.

sporkdevil
Most teams don't get regular coverage. Atlanta is one of the teams that will not be mentioned frequently. It's been that way for years. In 2007, our TV coverage was measured in seconds.

sporkdevil
Actually is was mentioned quite a bit back in '07 but unfortunately it involved just two names with the team; Vick and Quitrino Oh yeah, we got mention early in because of our "troubles". Later on, you could barely find a highlight of the game on Monday, even on NFLn.
papi
Sirius satellite seems to cover the same way (Cowboys, Giants, Jets, etc. etc.)It will probably take us picking up T.O. to get some attention.Perhaps its best that we stay under the radar and ambush everyone during the season. Sometimes its easy to become a target with too much coverage. However, Id love to see some periodic updates.
Drathdon
What day is our 32 teams in 32 days coverage on? I might watch that day.

living404
It's pretty much impossible to get real football news on TV. ESPN is even worse. Its like they just want to ram the same teams down your throat, or whatever gossip item is around.

Jamie Dukes, Rod Woodson and Warren Sapp get a $1,000 bonus everytime they say the word "Jets".
KMarch
It's no secret why they're talking about the Jets so much. Let's think about it: Which teams are opening a billion dollar stadium this season? Giants and the Jets. Which of those teams is facing potential blackouts b/c they jacked up their ticket prices so much and general lack of interest? The Jets. Who owns the NFL Network? The NFL.Who owns the NFL? The owners, collectively.Who benefits from the talk of the Jets? The owner and the NFL.
cannonballsghost
I have given up on ESPN for good, all 3 days of the draft were a rehash of the same 3 or 4 teams. To **** with them I check in here every couple of days to get the news.............still a lot of B.S. but at least its Falcon B.S. skynyrd04
It's all about ratings. Big Ben has a scandal which means ratings. NY and Dallas are large markets, I think first and third largest in the US respecitively. Thus, you talk about their teams the most in an attempt to draw more viewers from those larger markets. ltstorm2
Actually I have seen a lot more positive Falcons coverage this year than in years past. Yes the cowboys and jets seem to get a lot of the time but we've gotten a lot more than we have in the past. The NFL network will also start hyping us a lot when we get closer to that Thursday night opener on their network. What else would the networks have to say about us that we already don't know. Turner's coming in at better shape/Abraham is key/Ryan is in year three? I am a fan of the Falcons and football so it doesn't bother me to hear about what goes on around the league. I get the absolute best coverage of the Falcons right here on the message boards.
