TdotFalcon
Hopefully he is ok. From what I have seen of McCoy on NFLN he is a class act.

BCEagleATLFalcon
if one of our star players went down, do u think fans from rival teams would wish them to be ok???i think not..Doesn't mean we have to stoop to that level. I'm a big proponent of being a classy fan. (If for no other reason than that I want the Bucs at full power when we sweep them, so Bucman has no argument to fall back on. ) Edited June 10, 2010 by BCEaGleATLFaLcOn

(If for no other reason than that I want the Bucs at full power when we sweep them, so Bucman has no argument to fall back on. )I don't care how we sweep them. We've had our share of injury bugs throughout the years. I don't mind if they do. Mind you, I don't want to see anything life altering for the guy... but a nagging injury that limits his playing time this year and years to come would be fine by me. falconsd56
if one of our star players went down, do u think fans from rival teams would wish them to be ok???i think not..So what,No reason to stoop to that level. The guys in the nfl are still people...... and it always sucks to see someone get hurt.I hope he is ok.plus its going to be a whole lot more fun seeing us put 200+ yards rushing on them with him there. falconidae
if one of our star players went down, do u think fans from rival teams would wish them to be ok???i think not..And you think wrong- most fans don't wish injury on other team's players. The ones that do call for that on messageboards get called out by other fans.Check out Rival central- there's smack talk, but injuries to anybody are considered bad news. Bucman™®
Dude gets a cramp and its Major news... seems silly to be honest, and no one ever came on here happy about Jerrys injury thats just some nonsense. And AB(benn) did twist his ankle, also HUGE news. rookies in the NFL now, he needs to go ahead and stop that bleeding *******(hey hey hey) stuff, and get with the program. jus my .02! TdotFalcon
Ya pretty much what everyone said, to be a "real" falcon fan doesn't mean that you have to cheer for injuries on opposing teams. That just means you are a horrible person.Have you ever been injured? It effects your life, you can't work your job and make an income, and the wheels fall off the bus.Plus we are in the best league in the world. To win, I want the Falcons to beat the best, or it means nothing; like winning in the CFL
Big Zee
I hate the Bucs but I don't wish an injury on any player (or anyone).

JKH5785
It's disconcerting news, more so for a TB fan. This is not a season ender or anything serious and it sounds like McCoy will be in training camp at full strength. I'm not counting out the possibility that this could be something that plagues him in the future, but for right now, this really holds no bearing on our future matchups. Falconsken
Who cares? Go "root" for someone else if you're going to be the kind of fan who roots for good people to get hurt just because the jersey they wear. I hope he has the worst games of his career against Atlanta, and never does anything, but I don't want to see a human being hurt, and then gloat about it. These aren't just football players they're people too, and McCoy is a good kid, I don't want to see him hurt, I just don't want to see him do well against the Falcons, but outside of that I hope he rips it up, especially against Drew Brees. So, that being said, if you're 'that' kind of fan, please go root for the Bucs, cause that's the kind of trash their fans are (for the most part) that's not what Falcon Nation is about.buhbye.Correction that's yoru perspective of falcons nation....I do agree that i dont want another human hurt and you hatet to hear stories of football players that almsot made it and had it all ended because of an injury... but when turner or ryan was out against teams last year i can bet every fan on the other teams got something to get excited about... Im all for the falcons beating teams at full strength but when we get some lady luck on our side im not complaining to much.
