Not sure how significant this is, but it's part of the renovation going on this offseason.

--When Georgia football coach Mark Richt returned from a visit to Virginia Tech this spring with members of the strength staff, he said the Bulldogs would look for way to improve the players’ in-season nutrition.

Rex Bradberry, who was a graduate assistant on the staff, is now full-time on staff with the title of sports nutritionist.

“I think we’ve done a tremendous job of getting our guys prepared for the season, but I think in season we’ve maybe had some guys that have lost some weight,” Richt said this spring. “What we’ve learned is the biggest part is the nutritional aspect of it. We’ve got to make sure that we’re feeding these guys right.”

We did have someone on staff handle the nutrition part of it, but didn't have the title and it wasn't their sole purpose. It is a great move to officially have someone who handles that exclusively.

I bet Max Jean-Gilles wished this guy was around when he was on campus. He went to extreme measures to get his weight under control this off-season. I hope it works for him.

Wonder if he's been working with Sturdivant this off-season?
