Andrew
Brilliant!Amazing. How does a kid like that make into a major university? How does he make it in any college period?I'd be ashamed to have even been part of recruiting this kid.

aPureTerror
Wow... I am amazed by how judgmental people can be. By no means do I condone their language or anything like that but I don't even find this newsworthy. At the end of the article the writer said something about it being obvious that he still has some growing up to do.... we'll yeah, who doesn't at that age? I don't agree with posting a video like that on the internet, but by no means do I feel entitled to judge some youngsters off a silly Wal-mart video. Kids will be kids, you live and you learn. Or was that just kids being kids.I can make a lot of judgments off of this video and the armed robbery video -- judgment #1 is I would not want this kid to even be associated with my college institution, as a student, football player, or in any other capacity. Theres no excuse for this, its not "silly" stuff, this guy is stealing and recording it and then posting on youtube, how ignorant can you be? Not to long ago, he was part of a armed robbery where he wore his UT jersey. Listen, I've made some mistakes in my life, I didn't have a great upbringing but it wouldn't excuse me to run around like that while in college on a scholarship and do stupid stuff like that. He needs to be in prison.

Kids will be kids? Maybe I'm crazy, but videotaping yourself stealing clothes at Walmart seems a little more than just "silly". In fact, the word illegal comes to mind. And then posting it on the internet, well, that's just plain stupid. Now, if he was out rolling someone's house with toilet paper or lighting a bag of dog poop on someone's porch and ringing the doorbell, I'd agree. Kids will be kids and do dumb stuff.I'm not really sure how this is being judgemental. Now, if there was no video of it, and people were just saying stuff b/c of his past or his skin color, than yeah, that's judgemental. But when there is video tape of it, I think he's fair game to be called an idiot or a waste or whatever. Nothing irritates me more than when a kid given a great opportunity (and now a 2nd one) just totally pisses it away. aPureTerror
Okay I completely stand corrected. I simply didn't watch the entire vid the first time. I thought it was just a vid of them talking stupid and using foul language. I'm in awe to see him boldly put the shirt on in the store like that. Amazing that you can be that stupid, committing a crime while being recorded and then uploading it for everyone to see. I myself, have learned a valuable lesson.... I will NEVER comment on a video again without watching it from start to finish. I apologize. Edited June 8, 2010 by aPureTerror
