jes2400
I just watched NFLN Top 10 Return men. With this dead time I'm watching anything that allows me to see a Falcon running down a football field(Boy, I can't wait 'til the season starts). Anyway, 3 former Falcons made the list: Eric Metcalf(8), Deion Sanders(4), and Billy"White Shoes" Johnson(3). So,who do you guys say is our best ever return man so far? All these guys also played on other teams, so their ranking on the NFLN list isn't necessarily indicative of what they did for us, although they all were good when they were here. My pick is White Shoes, although I'm a little biased. He's the 1st and only Falcon I've ever met.I was 12 and I'll never forget it. Deion was good for us, as was A.Rossum and Tim Dwight. I've got a feeling H.Douglas will make this list soon.

Captain Falcon
lol love the Vaughn reference. I've met white shoes a lot and he is a GREAT guy. Very polite. And he hooked me up with tickets a lot. One question though. How does Adam Jennings not make the list?
lokifalcon55
I would rate Deion the best Falcon returner. He was an athlete a step above the others on the field. White Shoes was great also but I got to go with Deion. Maybe it's because my memory is a bit hazy on White Shoes.
FalconFanSince1970
Darrick Vaughn!Maybe the best Falcon kick returner. Ever.Best punt returner? Maybe D. Gordon. Need to check the stats though. Most people would say Deion, Metcalf, White Shoes, Dwight or Rossum.I'll go with Vaughn and Gordon until I check the stats. I just wen't with by all my years of watching Falcon ball. I just wanted to hear some of you guys opinions. I knew I would miss some players. I try to avoid making to long of a post. hawkeye
In no particular order. Deion, Rossum, White Shoes, Metcalf, and Super Knat Reggie Smith.
jes2400
OOPS! Sorry about the double reply FalconFanSince1970! I didn't realize I did that. I was correcting a word.
Peyton
Deion was the best returner. It pains me to say that, cause I can't really stand the guy, but it is the truth.

TeamPlayer1
White Shoes, Deion, Rossum all great and Dwight had flashes but Harry Douglas showed great talent, too. I hate that he was injured and missed last season.I know Grimes is valuable but returning punts he would be sick! On one interception return he was like a balloon being released. 2008 I think. pured-hallfan
Edit: skills like this are hard to come by, not just anyone can get their hands caught in their facemask tryna catch a kickI'm fairly sure it's unheard of at this level to possess such a skill :P
Shredman
Metcalf returned Punts and Kicks, he scored TDs doing Both, he had a couple 2 or better td return games for us in like 93....Rossum was also good, white shoes, Dwight we have had some good ones...I would say Metcalf tho
FlyHighFalcons
One question though. How does Adam Jennings not make the list?Lmao, I hope you're kidding. And I'd put Rossum up there with the three that made the list. Maybe 4th out of the 4, but still one of the best. Duff_Man
Rossum was a favorite of mine. I just trusted him more than most. He was sure-handed and made smart decisions. Tim Dwight was a wrecking crew on returns, but he went full-bore too much.
HouseofEuphoria
Deion Sanders, hands down. Everytime this guy walked on the field for a return there was a good chance it was going all the way back.He was a living ESPN highlight reel.
