delaigle
Weems 100Finn 73Gonzo 66Jenks 57White 56OH wait that's their completion percentages Now How do I grade them ??How many points for completion rate? How many points based on the number of snaps played? How many points based on their blocking ability? How many points based on TDs scored? How many points are subtracted for dropped passes? How many points based on total yards? How many points based on YAC?What else?Heck that's all too much trouble!I'll just use PFF ratings even though I usually strongly disagree with them Edited May 19, 2010 by delaigle
JKH5785
RW84 -> A+ (Self-Explanatory)MJ12 -> B- (inconsistent, lacks motor)TG88 -> A+ (HOF, Self-Explanatory)HD83 -> B+ (Promising Rookie year, vastly athletic)EW14 -> C+ (Reliable backup, we know he can last through 16 games)BF86 -> C+ (Usually great hands, not the most athletic any more, not our best option with younger guys in the mix)KM80 -> ? (Would rather have Kerry over Finn, Finn backside of career, Kerry's could be bright)

YES HD looked very promising in 08 and YES I agree that EW has a hard road to make the 53 man roster this year. And Finn has been a favorite of mine since back in the days when they called him skillet hands. But I do expect to see changes in the WR corp this year. I just do not know how drastic and broad those changes will be. We know Weems can be reliable, and he is still young.

Hustle Up
White: 100% - Roddy is fantastic he would get more love from people if he were able to make more spectacular catches, the guy is just solidGonzalez: 100%- hall of famerJenkins: 75%- great blocker, but u are a RECEIVER, u have to make plays catching the ball tooDouglas: 85%- would be better, but who really knows how well he bounces back from that injuryWeems: 77%- he was ok, nothing greatMeir: I project him to be 85-95%, draft steal
I want Good Coordinators
Roddy white- Grade A- just now reaching his prime and gelling with qb. Only few wr get a+ and they are andre johnson, moss,Tony G B+ - Rather have witten at this point in his career, gates, vernon davis, clarkJenkins C many many number twos perform better with less talents drawing coverage awayHarry Douglas- slightly better than jenkins still a c. Due to injury and hasnt proven himself yet but his talent level and athleticism is definately more in tact than jenkFinneran C -- makes big catches most for first downs injuries hurt him maybe even a c minus but is more reliable than jenk at this pointthis is judgement soley on pass catching, route running ability

The only thing we are lacking is the ability to work the deep routes on one side of the field. therefore coverage can focus on roddy and gonzo and know a big play is very unlikely to a singled jenk at this point. Even the threat across the field from white opens up the underneath and middle for gonzo and he would improve drastically. Also would allow us to open of the screen game and then we would be unstoppable
skynyrd04
Ok let's see. I guess this is like giving what we think their Madden rating should be or something so...Roddy = 93 Great #1 WR. Tony G = 88 Still great, but age does catch up with you sometime.Jenks = 80 Solid but inconsistent #2 WR.HD = 78 Trending up and could replace Jenks as the #2 option if healthy.Finn = 72 Still passable but not nearly the player he once was, and most likely to be cut. Weems = 72 The guy earned his spot last year, upside as KR/PR. Meier = ? Don't know much about this kid. Don't thing I even spelled his name right.
