Cowboys will trade LB Carpenter to Rams for OT Barron on Monday

NFL.com

A trade that would send Dallas Cowboys linebacker Bobby Carpenter to the St. Louis Rams in exchange for offensive tackle Alex Barron will be finalized Monday, NFL Network insider Michael Lombardi reported.

Barron, a five-year veteran, likely will compete for the Cowboys' left tackle spot, recently vacated when the team released veteran Flozell Adams. Barron will compete with Doug Free, who started seven games at right tackle for Dallas last season.

Carpenter, a four-year veteran, has started just three games for the Cowboys during his tenure. He originally was a first-round pick (18th overall) by Dallas in 2006.

My boy Barron on a quality team...could be scary.

That depends, will he or Free start at LT. If Barron starts at LT will that put Free at RT? I dont really care either way. This gives Dallas more depth.

Check this out though

2009

Flozell Adam - 8 sacks, 7 QB Hits, 34 QB Presures

Alez Barron - 7 sacks, 15 QB Hits, 24 QB Pressures

Alex has had a rough time with the Rams...But it is the Rams. With Dallas he could show his ability. But he does get a lot of penalties which will have to change.
