The Atlanta Falcons have announced they have signed undrafted free-agent DT Trey Bryant (Baylor) and DE Rajon Henley (Texas Tech). Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Bo Marchionte, of NFL Draft Bible, reports Baylor DT Trey Bryant ran the 40-yard dash in 4.85 seconds at his Pro Day. He weighed in at 312 pounds.

Fifth-year senior defensive lineman... Starter in 23 of 27 career games played... 23 career starts ranks as fourth-most on team (heading into 2009)... 17 career multiple-tackle games... One of nine returning defensive starters.

2008 (Junior): Played all 12 games as junior, starter at nose tackle in 11 of 12... Named to Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll for fall 2008... Finished season with 24 tackles (nine solo), 3.5 tackles for loss, five quarterback hurries and two pass breakups... Started first 11 games of season... Credited with two tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and career-high two pass breakups in win over Northwestern State in second game... Had season-high four tackles, including 1.5 for loss in win over Washington State... Matched season-high of four tackles, all assisted, at UConn... Made career-high two QB hurries in win over Iowa State... Credited with at least one tackle in all 12 games.

2007 (Sophomore): Produced nine multi-tackle games in 12 starts as sophomore nose tackle and ranked 14th on squad overall (No. 4 among BU d-linemen) in total tackles with 28 stops (15 solos)... Also had 2.0 tackles for loss, one pass breakup, one forced fumble and four QB hurries... Career-high five tackles (four solos) and one pass breakup at No. 20 Kansas... Totaled four tackles (three solos) and 0.5 tackles for loss at No. 4 Oklahoma... Had three tackles (one solo) and one forced fumble at Kansas State... Credited with three tackles (two solos) vs. Oklahoma State... Registered 1.0 tackle for loss at Buffalo and had 0.5 TFL vs. Colorado... Made first career start at No. 22 TCU (one solo tackle)... Played 676 snaps to receive second Baylor monogram... Played 60 or more downs in six of 12 starts with high of 78 snaps at Texas A&M.

2006 (Redshirt Freshman): Redshirt freshman nose tackle saw action in three games... Played 53 snaps, 46 of which were over Baylor's final two games of season -- at Oklahoma State and against No. 16 Oklahoma... Totaled five tackles (three solos) on season, including two for loss... Had then-career-high three tackles, all solos, in 23 snaps at Oklahoma State... Two of three stops vs. Cowboys were for loss (two yards)... Totaled two tackles, both assisted, on 23 plays against Sooners... Received first letter.

2005 (True Freshman): Sat out year as redshirt.

High School: L.V. Berkner High School, Richardson, Texas... No. 77 (28th on its all-area list) on The Dallas Morning News State Top 100 list... Fort Worth Star-Telegram and Waco Tribune-Herald Top 100 member... Ration's 34th-best defensive tackle by Rivals.com... Member of Texas Football's 2004 Top 300... In three seasons for Rams, recorded 175 tackles, 15 sacks, three fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles... As senior, credited with 65 tackles, six sacks, two forced fumbles, 15 pressures, six pass breakups and two blocked field goals en route to first-team all-city and first-team all-district honors... Led Berkner to school-record eight victories in 2004 (against four losses), seven-game win streak, district title and first-ever berth in 5A Division I Region II semifinals... First-team all-city and first-team all-district pick as junior, had 60 tackles, eight sacks, one forced fumble and fumble recovery... 2002 District and City Sophomore of Year had 50 tackles and one sack en route to all-city and all-district honors... 2005 Coca-Cola Bowl participant... Rajon Henley is a good signing. I've watched some of his games mostly to see Brandon Sharpe, but Henley also stood out to me. I had him on my list of sleepers, he got a solid amount of pressure on the passer.

As for the Bryant signing, I have no idea who he is.

Knew we would fix the DE problem, can anyone say SUPERBOWL BOUND!!!!!!!

I hope this an attempt at sarcasm..... Trey Bryant may be more than a camp body- I mean Trey Lewis and T Johnson arent exactly world beaters. I remember Coach Smith going off on the sidelines,they were getting man handled and pushed back 4 to 5 yards on every running play. Yeah I hope Bryant surprises because who knows how Jelly's knew will be....Ooops I meant Jerry :D
