Guest mashburn
I am sure Tony is happy with his new apprentice. all the videos has him catching high, so does that mean he likes the ball where tony does?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvjoZgCFx3I

Faithful Falcon
I like this signing. I think people are getting too much in to the Antonio Gates, Winslow Jr., and Vernon Davis type of TE. I like the Mark Bavaro,Jay Novacek, and Winslow #1. Those were proven winners.

Mr. Hoopah!
Peek isn't an amazing athlete, but he's a solid athlete and a good pass catcher. He lined up split out wide nearly as much as he was in a three point stance next to the tackle. He wasn't just a safety valve for McElroy, he was the #1 or 2 option on alot of their passing plays. kibitzer
Is it wrong that even w/Tony still on the team, and obviously the starter, I'm still more excited about this pick than Weatherspoon?
Izo#2883
I dont think Peek can benefit a whole lot from Gonzales, in just 1 season.
Zenduke
Did we sign him? I'm looking around and see nothing about it. I hope we did....as a Bama fan I always thought he was pretty good. He's a team player can run block and catches pretty well.

He's not running a 4.3, but he has extremely soft hands and he knows how to get open. Extremely sound fundamentally.

Tony was very athletic when he came out.
#1 pick
Sounds like TG. He's not really gifted athletically. He's not running a 4.3, but he has extremely soft hands and he knows how to get open. Extremely sound fundamentally.Seriously, this is the biggest reach comment of the weekend. TG is one of the most athletic TE in NFL history. This is guy athletically might be like Schelfer who was a former Bronco and now is a Lion.
bossFALCON™
I'm not saying TG was not gifted athletically. Of course he is, all players in the pros are. What I was saying is TD is not a workout warrior type like Vernon Davis. TG is not running a 4.3 but he understands body postioning, how to get open and he's a great route runner. My point is that he relies more on fundamentals in his game than athleticism unlike other TEs in the league.
