IMO it is usually a LB award. They rack up alot of tackles, and that usually plays alot into award.

Berry could get it though.

I love Spoon but he'll be competing with Lofton, D-Rob, Grimes, Moore, & DeCoud for tackles. His coverage stats will be higher than what you guys predict while tackles will be lower.

More like 60-70 tackles, 3-4 sacks, 10-12 TFL's, 2-3 FF's, 12-15 pass breakups/defenses, & 3 ints. Which these are still good enough stats to win DROY I think. Depends if Suh gets 10 sacks or Berry gets 8 ints. If either of those happen, Spoon will need a couple more sacks and/or ints to get it, which is a huge stretch.

I don't think Suh will be in it, but Berry and Spoon are my early favorites. Suh will face a lot of double teams from pros.
