sporkdevil
Am I missing some signing they had in New Orleans? Their only good LB was Vilma, but Fujita was pretty good. He went to Cleveland, and all they have left is... Shanle? Didn't sign or draft a single LB.Cooooool.

sporkdevil
FWIW they signed Jason Beauchamp, LB, UNLVWhy would they go CB in the first? That makes zero sense to me. I am all for NO drafting guys who won't see the field

Guest mashburn
aints and about 21 other teams did not go after their needs. they were just trying to go after who was the biggest name on the board. their was only about 6 teams who did what they were suppose to about their needs. falcons IMO did the best of fixing their needs. WHODAT BEAST IN THE CELLAR
Gregg Williams and his blitzing schemes rely on a secondary that covers teams like a wet blanket while rushing the QB into bad decisions. The rest works itself out, and having the top scoring offense in the league doesn't hurt either.
WHODAT BEAST IN THE CELLAR
Every team including the Falcons are studying what the Jets and Saints are doing on Dto catch up with the program according to John Gruden and co. bush4life
The New Orleans Saints have signed undrafted free-agent DE Junior Galette (Stillman College), according to Jason VanFulpen, of NFLDraftBible.com. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

I know Shanle (or whatever) was rated one of the worst 4-3 OLB's in the entire league last year. Now it looks like he is your best OLB. I'd like to point out both Falcons and Panthers allowed fewer points last year. OLB is a big need.

Still, OLB should have been addressed. I have a pretty solid theory that you guys can't draft.

WHODAT BEAST IN THE CELLAR
Can we admit then that Saints and Jets D are very similar in scheme. It's like the same guy calling the plays Rex Ryan/3G, one and the same practically. That's only going to improve with future drafts.
