bossFALCON™
Thomas decoud - was looked at as mostly a special teams guykroy biermann - also considered a major reach and was projected to be a special teams guy AT BEST. He was supposed to be undraftedChris owens - was supposed to be a nickle or dime corner/ special teamerthese "reaches" have become some of our better players
SetzerFalcon
But he drafted players he KNEW were going to be injured and I know for a fact football players NEVER get hurt except when we draft them! And he drafted some kid from Furman I've never heard of and that kid ended up playing for the Jaguars...and they're TERRIBLE!And Sam Baker looks Amish! And Chevis Jackson didn't answer me when I asked him "boxers or briefs" on twitter so he's the WORST CORNERBACK EVER!I also heard that Thomas Dimitroff eats babies. muskokas finest ©
Chris owens - was supposed to be a nickle or dime corner/ special teamerWith Robinson and Williams the starters, isn't he just that?
Jimsmusic™
With Robinson and Williams the starters, isn't he just that?williams?robinson/owens will likely be the starters.owens showed at end of last year he's capable.
Thelonious Mingus
williams?robinson/owens will likely be the starters.owens showed at end of last year he's capable.CO and Kroy were reaches? Since when?Chevis Jackson, Garret Reynolds, Robert James, and William Middleton are some other names as well. Have to be fair.

I'll be very surprised if Owens isn't staring opposite DR next year. I think Williams and grimes will fight it out for nickle.
Misznay-Schardin
With Robinson and Williams the starters, isn't he just that?Except it's been said numerous times by TD/MS that he was brought back to play inside and for his experience/leadership, NOT to be a starter on the outside. So no, Owens will compete with Grimes(Grimes is the currently listed #2) for the starting spot opposite Robinson. bossFALCON™
CO and Kroy were reaches? Since when?Chevis Jackson, Garret Reynolds, Robert James, and William Middleton are some other names as well. Have to be fair.CJ wasn't a reach, he was supposed to go in the 3rd.The others were reaches though. Reynolds has been solid for us and also started last year if I'm not mistaken. James has been hurt so the jurys out and Middleton is on a roster so you never know. Clabo and dahl were PS players for a long time and look at them now. Same for grimes. falconsd56
so far the biggest "reach" was his very first pick.Ryan while loved by one and all now was not so when he was drafted.there were MANY people who considered him a huge reach considering in their words guys like Henne and Brohom(sp) were more "pro ready". Peyton
I don't know man, holding up 3 guys as examples who really haven't accomplished that much, I don't know that I find that all that reassuring.Besides, I didn't think Bierman and Owens were considered reaches. William Middleton, now that was a reach.
falconsd56
the thing is EVERY GM is going to reach....... EVERY GM is going to make a mistake.EVERY GM are going to do things that fan base that does not agree with.
maxatlanta
The media had Chris Owens as a fifth round prospect going into the draft last year. I had never even heard of Biermann when we drafted him.

William Middleton, now that was a reach.Bierman was projected to go undrafted, and the guy has been an INCREDIBLY serviceable pass-rush specialist.
