Ever wondered what SEC schools pay nonconference foes to come to their place and play?

Georgia on Tuesday released its future nonconference opponents (not counting Georgia Tech) along with the money each visiting team will receive.

Of the games scheduled for Sanford Stadium in the coming years, North Texas will get the biggest payout. Georgia will fork out nearly $1 million ($975,000) for North Texas to come open the 2013 season at Sanford Stadium.

It's another reminder that some of these "buy" games for SEC schools are getting pricier and pricier, and the reason you're seeing some SEC teams working 2-for-1 deals and agreeing to go on the road to smaller venues.

Mississippi State has played at Louisiana Tech and Middle Tennessee the past two years. Alabama is playing at Duke this coming season. Tennessee had a game at Marshall scheduled, but wound up getting out of that trip. Georgia will play at Louisville during the 2012 season.

Here are the future nonconference dates for Georgia (both home and away):

Sept. 4, 2010: Louisiana Lafayette, Athens ($875,000)

Oct. 2, 2010: Colorado, Boulder ($825,000)

Nov. 6, 2010: Idaho State, Athens ($525,000)

Sept. 3, 2011: Louisville, Athens ($250,000)

Sept. 17, 2011: Coastal Carolina, Athens ($475,000)

Nov. 5, 2011: New Mexico State, Athens ($925,000)

Sept. 15, 2012: Louisville, Louisville ($250,000)

Aug. 31, 2013: North Texas, Athens ($975,000)

Date TBA, 2013: Appalachian State, Athens ($325,000)

Date TBA, 2013: Clemson, Clemson ($300,000)

Date TBA, 2014: Clemson, Athens ($300,000)

Sept. 5, 2015: Oregon, Eugene ($350,000)

Sept. 10, 2016: Oregon, Athens ($350,000)

Why so much for North Texas? It must be tied in with some future agreement.

they were having a hard time fitting someone in that date..
