Southsacfalcon
He might just be worth the 23 million to "our" team, ya know what I'm saying.
The Talon
He is sure worth 23 million or whatever the contract was to us. We HAD to have good corners to win against the Aints. Rather win the NFC South than go in as a wildcard. No, we didn't reach. Edited March 7, 2010 by The Talon
Falcons 'til Death
Unfortunately a # 1 corner is one of the most highly paid positions in the NFL. If you want a true shut down, you are going to have to pay. It's just the way it is. If people think Robinson's contract was extreme, wait until Revis or Asomugha hits the market. etherdome
You can't "reach" for a Free Agent. You can over pay for one, but you can't reach for one. Dunta is a #1 type of CB and his contract reflects that value. The Falcons needed an experienced #1 CB. Dunta is experienced yet still young. I was a Bodden guy, but TD sees Dunta as an ideal fit for out team. I can't argue with that. This team can now go into the draft with great freedom. This is a very good signing and I congratulate Dunta and the Falcons.

cooperbh
TONS of fans said we "reached" on Ryan at No. 3 also. And "overpaid" for Turner. Seems like reaching and overpaying is the formula for success. Good job once again, TD! Edited March 7, 2010 by cooperbh
falken
It's hardly a 'reach' for a team to sign the best FA available at a position of need.

WCFalcon
I'm fine with this move and looking forward to see him play. I think he will do fine and I hope he comes through for us. We need a play-maker on defense... Well another one, if you count Grimes as one :P
TeamPlayer1
shut upWhy do you think your view should be more respected than the Falcons FO who are paid the big bucks to make these decisions? And they have proven that they really know what they are doing!
