wartownfalcon
http://blogs.nfl.com/2010/03/05/agent-peppers-could-visit-two-others-besides-bears/Carl Carey, the agent for Julius Peppers, said his client is very excited about spending Friday in Chicago meeting with Bears officials and negotiating a new contract, but the free-agent defensive end could make other visits.Carey said that of the suitors thus far, two other teams have piqued Peppers’ interest. Carey declined to name the teams at this point because they hadn’t given him permission to reveal their interest in having Peppers visit.“Of the teams that have called us, there are two other possibilities that could be worth visiting,” Carey said. “When the Bears called, they said enough to entice us to get on a plane to Chicago. Beyond that, I don’t know what’s going to happen.”Carey said Bears coach Lovie Smith flew to North Carolina — where Peppers, a longtime Panther, lives — to meet with them and will fly back to Chicago with them Friday morning. Peppers is expected to command the biggest contract in this limited free-agent market. Edited March 5, 2010 by wartownfalcon
kirbyr
Don't want their names released because signing the top CB and DE in FA would go against their image.
Birdz 0f Prey
He will be a Bear. This is a classic bargaining tool, Basically saying to the Bears either throw a ton of money our way or we will go elsewhere. And the Bears will do just that, Making Peppers a ridiculous contract that will make us wonder if Daniel Synder is running that team.
