tikibar
I just downloaded the iCall app for my iPod Touch, the coolest electronic device I've ever owned. This iCall app looks like the coolest thing I've put on there yet...I've tried it a couple times w/ zero problems. Is it really free to call anyone in the US if you have an Internet connection? I'm getting ready to head to Canada and it would without a doubt be extremely cool to call home for free where I can get an Internet connection...is this the case? Anyone else tried it yet abroad? tikibar
I have free wifi in my hotel and usually can get it at any Canadian Starbucks. Wouldn't that allow for free calling to the US?
tikibar
I think so... Just make sure you disable data roaming any way you can...Don't have data roaming or credit card info on ipod touch. Not in Canada yet, but seems so cut/dry/easy when I will be there to use this...

I talk to my cousin for free all the time and he lives in Japan.
