dirtybirds32842
Brent Grimes is an athletic FREAK. Chris Owens showed some promise last year. I think with the addition of a consistent pass rusher, these two will flourish. even revis cant cover a WR for 7 seconds. Will these 2 be enough for the falcons for the next few seasons? The Don™
Owens is being groomed as a long term starter....Grimes, is a KEY part of this team but I am not sure if he starts....I like him best at nickel

The Don™
Nickel back is the perfect fit for Grimes. Who gets the other starting corner slot then?FA corner gets the other spot and we might draft a CB in the first or third to potentially start long term like Owens. Karst41
Sign one and Draft OneFor example OnlySign BoddenStarters are now Bodden/Owens and Grimes at NickleDraft OneDraft Pick and Houston = depth chart.I am HIGHLY Skeptical about Williams making a return.Lets just fix the position and be Done Wid It. I think we need to sign a vet corner (not like 10 year vet) maybe Robinson or Bodden. Then draft one with a bit of a later pick, and address the pass rush in the first. blkbigdog35
I think Grimes is more of nickel but Owens showed alot of promise this kid can become a beast. We need a CB in the draft or FA because were lacking a true starter on the roster.
blkbigdog35
But I think what will help these guys out is for us to get a stud at DE.
Dem Birds
I think with a pass rush, Grimes will excel at getting turnovers with his freakish ability. Owens showed a lot last season as well. I'm not sure they they NEED someone, but I suspect they'll get someone.
1989Fan
i really like them both. they clicked when on the field together. I would like an insurance CB, but dont think we need to panic and pay big for a starter.Brian Williams coming back would be fine w me if he is 100%.Houston will still be here too. Smith said he was pleased w his play this year somehow.

Smith said he was pleased w his play this year somehow.I wouldn't read into that too much...our coach will praise his players in front of the media before he would downtalk them. It shows how great of a coach Smitty has been for this team. He handles everything "in house"...ex. Houston losing the starting role was never talked about prior to the game...it just so happened that one Sunday, Grimes and Owens were starting. I prefer Houston as depth and Williams is still an unknown right now...I feel our best bet would be to try and sign Bodden.
JTRaines92
I hope they are the two starters. They have showed they are the two best on the team. Williams is up there when healthy though.
