Just to let anyone who is interested know, Dorman pulled the upset and beat Brynes in the championship game. The final score was 28-17. Marcus Lattimore had 151 yards on 32 carries and Byrnes had at least twice as many yards as Dorman. But the Dorman defense turned into a brick wall just about every time Byrnes began to threaten the red zone.

One of the announcers for the game is evidentally an old Byrnes coach and he said that Dorman has, by far, the best defense that Byrnes faced this season. They are in the same region and Byrnes beat them in regular season to win the region but Dorman got them when it mattered. Last year it was exactly the other way around. But the two schools territories butt up against each other as far as which kids go to which school. So there's massive talent within roughly a 40 mile wide area. Does anyone know if Dorman has been nationally ranked at all this season? They should be, because they typically give Byrnes great games whenever they face one another.

Dorman was ranked #59, Byrnes was #4. Dorman should jump way up.
