SacFalcFan
Okay Clem tell me what do you think of him? It seems he is very interested in our job. Not sure if cmr is.
clemumo82
He's pretty good, but his soft zone seems to always frustrate late in games. He doesn't blitz often, and relies a lot on DE's to create pressure (his defenses have led Ware, Gaines Adams, and Phillip Merling to early rd picks in the last decade). Defenses also leaned more towards smaller, faster linebackers, used a lot in pass coverage too. DeAndre McDaniel was an LB in Koenning's defense before moving to S under Steele. His personality is rather prickly, and he came off arrogant a lot. Doesn't recruit much either. SandDrew
I don't think hes the right guy, but its not so much the philosophy of the defense we need to worry about from the coach, because BVG uses the same style, but its coaching the players how to execute that philosophy that is most important and I think thats where CWM failed.
