F@lcon Jack
It seems like he always forces the kick returner to take a knee in the endzone. This always puts our defense in a good position. Michael does not get enough credit.
NZFalcon
No doubt, Koenen rules
pearljamnash13
Craziest thing before this last season I played against his Western Washington Vikings... I got to Humboldt State two years after he graduated... He played under my head coach Mike Smith at WWU. Sad part is WWU no longer has a football program due to budget cuts. This happened the season after they won the Rotary Bowl and GNAC conference. Oh well thought I'd tie this to myself and my football team, but really KOENEN IS AWESOME!!! I would've hated to play against that leg in college because he was a kicker and punter at WWU.
Drathdon
That's why he got the franchise tag. We knew what we have in him, and greatly appreciate it!
JPA
Seriously, they should sell Koenen jerseys!
FalconJim
YEP, they don't give the "franchise tag" away for whistling Dixie. I don't know exactly how much "moolah" he makes, but he's worth every penny! I mean, last year opposing teams only got something like 49 return yards against Koenen, or something ridiculous like that...so, he's a vital part of our Special Team, for sure. Tandy
They don't franchise a punter for no reason!
